摘要： Aspects of the present disclosure describe systems, methods, and structures for high speed frequency hopping distributed acoustic sensing using an acousto-optic modulated (AOM), gated re-circulating loop and a frequency shifted receiver local oscillator. Using the re-circulating loop controlled by the AOM to generate frequency-hopping pulse(s) increases DAS acoustic bandwidth overcomes infirmities exhibited in the art that generate multiple frequency patterns that are not suitable for long-distance DAS. Additionally, by employing frequency shifted local oscillator (LO) with asymmetric in band detection, bandwidth requirements are reduced by one half.

摘要： A system and method for a tamper-resistant network is disclosed. The system includes a primary network hub (PNH) having a PNH transceiver and a PNH microcontroller. The PNH microcontroller has long range spread spectrum frequency hopping (SSFH) firmware, a plurality of frequency hopping sequences, and PNH tamper firmware. The system also includes a peripheral device (PD) having a PD transceiver, a PD tamper circuit, and a PD microcontroller. The PD microcontroller includes the long range SSFH firmware, the plurality of frequency hopping sequences, and PD tamper firmware. The PD communicates to the PNH that it is compromised, and the PNH deactivates the PD and an associated frequency hopping signal.

The processor FFT processes a received signal and identifies logical tones. For each logical tone, the processor reads received symbols; determines a ToA estimate; forms a statistic based on the ToA estimate; compares the statistic to a preamble threshold; and when the statistic is greater than or equal to the threshold, determines a preamble is present and utilizes the ToA estimate for a timing advance command.

摘要： A device for modulating communication signals comprises a transceiver for receiving and transmitting the signal, a storage medium storing computer implemented program code components to generate sequences and a processor in communication with the storage medium and transceiver. The processor executes computer implemented program code components to generate a family of shift sequences or arrays using exponential, logarithmic or index functions and a polynomial in i∈Zp−1 for a finite field Zp of prime p. Multiple columns of the arrays are substituted with pseudo-noise sequences in a cyclic shift equal to the shift sequence for the respective column to generate a substituted array. The substituted array, or a sequence unfolded using the CRT from the array when the array dimensions are relatively prime, is applied to a carrier wave of the communication signal to generate a modulated communication signal.
