摘要： Embodiments of the systems and methods disclosed herein provide a private broadcast platform architecture including a web server communication module, an access module, and an external communications module. The web server communication module receives an encrypted request data packet and sends a resource request message to the access module. The access module receives the resource request message and generate a resource transcoding request message. The external communications module receives the resource transcoding request message and in response, displays a broadcast platform resource data packet stream in a web page for display to a first user.

摘要： A method for accessing content at a device, wherein the device is arranged to execute a digital rights management (DRM) client of a DRM system and wherein the device is arranged to receive a broadcast signal comprising a plurality of encrypted portions of content for an item of content, each encrypted portion being packaged in a format of a conditional access system and being decryptable using a corresponding decryption key, wherein the method comprises an application executing on the device performing the steps of: for each of one or more of the encrypted portions: converting said encrypted portion from being packaged in the format of the conditional access system to being packaged in a format of the DRM system; providing said encrypted portion is packaged in the format of the DRM system to the DRM client; and either (a) providing a rights object according to the DRM system to the DRM client or (b) triggering the DRM client to obtain a rights object according to the DRM system; wherein the rights object corresponds to said encrypted portion by comprising decryption key data for use by the DRM client to obtain the decryption key corresponding to said encrypted portion.

摘要： In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a V2V unit in a vehicle (OBE) can, for example, store a plurality of years of encrypted certificates. The certificates can, for example, be programmed at an OBE factory using a secure server, and access to all certificates can be locked until an unlock key is computed for a given window (certificate validity period). An in-vehicle satellite receiver can then receive, over, for example, a dedicated satellite control channel, unlock codes for a current time window and a next time window, and provide them to the V2V device. Using those unlock codes, the V2V device (OBE) can compute an unlock key from an unlock code provided by the satellite receiver. In this manner an in-vehicle device may be directly messaged, but only to unlock one or more certificates at a controlled time. Without the received lock codes, the stored certificates are not useable.

Thereafter, at least one encrypted content item is retrieved from the data structure based on the one or more encrypted content items, the indexing of the one or more content items, and the one or more encrypted first attributes. 摘要： Space-efficient key allocations in broadcast encryption systems are provided. In some embodiments, a key bundle is read. The key bundle includes a first cryptographic key, an associated first key identifier, and an associated first cryptographic function identifier. A plurality of encrypted keys is received. Each encrypted key has an associated identifier. A first encrypted key is selected from the plurality of encrypted keys such that the key identifier of the first encrypted is equivalent to the first key identifier. A first cryptographic function is determined corresponding to the first cryptographic function identifier. The first cryptographic function is applied to the first encrypted key using the first cryptographic key to obtain a first intermediate cryptographic key. A content cryptographic key is determined using the first intermediate cryptographic key. The content cryptographic key is adapted for decryption of encrypted content.

In one embodiment, a method and computer program product is provided for broadcast encryption. A key bundle encoded in a non-transient machine-readable medium is received. A key block corresponding to a subset difference tree is received. A first cryptographic triple function corresponding to the first cryptographic function identifier is determined. The subset difference tree is traversed using the first cryptographic key and the first cryptographic triple function to obtain a content cryptographic key. The content cryptographic key is applied to the encrypted content to obtain decrypted content.
