摘要： A method for reducing a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. A first signal in the frequency domain is processed to generate a second signal by performing a modular permutation on the first signal according to a modular permutation index, and/or by performing a cyclic shift on the first signal according to a cyclic shift parameter. The second signal is then mapped to a number of tones, and transformed into a time-domain signal for transmission. The modular permutation index and/or the cyclic shift parameter are selected so that the signal for transmission has a PAPR that satisfies a predefined PAPR criteria.

摘要： A peak-to-average ratio reduction method, including dividing subcarriers of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol that carries to-be-transmitted data to obtain multiple blocks, determining multiple phase factors corresponding to the multiple blocks, where the multiple phase factors reduce a peak-to-average ratio of the OFDM symbol, transmitting the multiple phase factors using a particular subcarrier of the OFDM symbol, multiplying data transmitted on each block in the multiple blocks by a corresponding phase factor, and transmitting data obtained by means of multiplication. Phase factor information of each block is transmitted using the particular subcarrier such that application of a partial transmit sequence (PTS) method in a WI-FI system becomes possible, thereby effectively reducing a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of data.

摘要： A method and apparatus for allocating and processing sequences in a communication system is disclosed. The method includes: dividing sequences in a sequence group into multiple sub-groups, each sub-group corresponding to its own mode of occupying time frequency resources; selecting sequences from a candidate sequence collection corresponding to each sub-group to form the sequences in the sub-group by: the sequences in a sub-group i in a sequence group k being composed of n sequences in the candidate sequence collection, the n sequences making a |ri/Ni−ck/Np1| or |(ri/Ni−ck/Np1) modu mk,i| function value the smallest, second smallest, till the nth smallest respectively; allocating the sequence group to cells, users or channels. It prevents the sequences highly correlated with the sequences of a specific length from appearing in other sequence groups, thus reducing interference, avoiding the trouble of storing the lists of massive sequence groups.

摘要： A low PAPR sequence design method for a wireless communication system includes the following steps: setting relevant parameters of a designed sequence at first, then carrying out multiple iterations, generating multiple length-designated sequences having elements 0 and 1 and obeying the Bernoulli distribution of designated probability density parameters according to the parameters during primary iteration, screening the generated sequences according to the PAPRs of the sequences, updating the parameters of the next iteration based on the screened sequences, and finally mapping the sequence having the minimum PAPR to obtain a sequence with a low PAPR with elements of −1 and 1 after terminating the iterations. Compared with the prior art, the present invention allows the design of a sequence with a low PAPR with an arbitrary length, and the sequence only contains +1 and −1 as elements and has good autocorrelation performance.

摘要： Techniques are provided for constructing or determining a training sequence as a part of transmission preamble to minimize (or at least reduce) a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) at a transmitting node. In one example, a long training field (LTF) sequence of a preamble is determined that combines a set of interpolating sequences with LTF tone values. The LTF tone values may cover at least a portion of bandwidth of a first size, with each of the LTF tone values repeated for different subcarriers. The phases of tones of the LTF sequence may be rotated per bandwidth of the first size and certain tones of the LTF sequence may have a stream of values at pilot locations. For example, the phases of tones of the LTF sequence may be rotated in an effort to reduce PAPR during a transmission of the LTF sequence.
