摘要： A radio transmitter and a method therefor are disclosed. According to an embodiment, the radio transmitter comprises a first power amplifier (PA) corresponding to a first antenna port, an observation receiver, a first determination module, a first pre-distortion module, one or more second PA each corresponding to a second antenna port, one or more second determination module and one or more second pre-distortion module. The first determination module is configured to determine a first function reflecting a nonlinearity of the first PA, based on a first input signal to the first PA, an observation signal from the observation receiver and a first set of parameters characterizing the first PA. The first pre-distortion module is configured to determine and apply a first pre-distortion to a first baseband signal for the first antenna port. Each second determination module is configured to determine a second function reflecting a nonlinearity of the second PA, based on the first function and a difference between a second set of parameters characterizing the second PA and the first set of parameters. Each second pre-distortion module is configured to determine a second pre-distortion based on the second function and apply the second pre-distortion to a second baseband signal for the second antenna port.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for indicating modulation order and code rate for transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The base station may configure one or more parameter tables that provide mapping between a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and the modulation order and code rate. The one or more tables may be explicitly indicated in configuration signaling, may be configured based on a frequency range for communications or a reference signal configuration, or any combinations thereof. The base station may transmit control information to the UE that indicates the MCS index value and that indicates a first table of multiple configured tables is to be used to determine the modulation order and code rate.

摘要： In 5G-Advanced and 6G, due to the higher frequencies involved, phase noise is expected to be a major source of faults. Disclosed herein is a small (single resource element) phase-tracking reference signal that also provides an updated amplitude calibration. The compact phase-tracking reference signal, in QAM, includes a first branch at a maximum amplitude and an orthogonal second branch at either the maximum amplitude or zero amplitude, as transmitted. The receiver can readily determine a phase rotation angle according to a ratio of the two branch amplitudes, and also an amplitude calibration according to the vector magnitude of the received branches, thereby negating both amplitude noise and phase noise.

摘要： This application provides a signal transmission method and an apparatus, to reduce an envelope ripple of a transmission signal. The method includes: A base station obtains a first bit sequence and maps the first bit sequence to a first modulation symbol sequence, where a value of each modulation symbol in the first modulation symbol sequence belongs to a first constellation point set, the first constellation point set includes K modulation symbols, and each of the K modulation symbols has a different amplitude. The base station sequentially performs a DFT, weighting, and an IFFT on each modulation symbol in the first modulation symbol sequence to obtain a first signal. Based on the foregoing solution, an envelope ripple of the signal generated by the base station in time domain is small. This facilitates demodulation of the transmission signal by a terminal.

摘要： A transmitter circuit receives a PWM input signal and a clock signal. A logic circuit generates a control signal as a function of the clock signal. The control signal is normally set to high, and is periodically set to low for a transmission time interval when an edge is detected in the clock signal. The transmission time interval is shorter than a half clock period of the clock signal. A tri-state transmitter receives the PWM input signal and the control signal, and produces first and a second output signals at first and second transmitter output nodes, respectively. The output signals have a voltage swing between a positive voltage and a reference voltage. An output control circuit is sensitive to the control signal and is coupled to the first and second transmitter output nodes.

摘要： A signal generation method is used in a transmission device that transmits a plurality of transmission signals from a plurality of antennas at the same frequency and at the same time, in the case where larger power change is performed on a first transmission signal than on a second transmission signal during generation process of the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal, the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal are mapped before the power change such that a minimum Euclidian distance between possible signal points for the first signal is longer than a minimum Euclidian distance between possible signal points for the second signal.

摘要： 5G and especially 6G are susceptible to phase faults due to rapid phase fluctuations, usually in the local oscillator of the user device. Low-cost IoT applications that 6G is intended to serve may be impractical unless phase noise mitigation can be applied on each uplink and downlink message. Accordingly, a single-branch phase-tracking reference is disclosed occupying just a single resource element, in which one quadrature branch is transmitted with a predetermined maximum modulation amplitude, and the other branch has zero amplitude. The receiver can then quantify the phase noise (or the phase rotation angle) according to a ratio of the as-received branch amplitudes, and mitigate a concurrent message by de-rotating each message element by the same phase angle, thereby restoring high reliability at high frequencies at negligible cost.
