摘要： Methods and system for scheduling or launching online and phone sessions between two or more people via email and other electronic communication channels without the requirement for an account with the session service provider when scheduling the session. By including a designated service provider email address in the recipient list of the host's email or meeting invitation, a user account can be, and in some embodiments is automatically created by the service provider system in response to receipt of such an Email and session invitations are automatically sent to the host and invitees designated in the host's email or meeting invitation. In this way the host and invites calendars can be automatically updated and populated with session information and information on how to joint the session, e.g., on-line meeting or conference. 摘要： The present invention comprises a method and apparatus for receiving, modifying and transmitting electronic communications. In one or more embodiments, the invention comprises a method performed by a server computer system that receives communications addressed to e-mail addresses created by the server computer system for recipients from senders having existing e-mail addresses. The server system creates modified e-mail messages by removing the sender's existing e-mail address and inserting an e-mail address created by the server computer system for that sender, wherein the created e-mail address identifies a name of the sender. The server computer system then transmits the modified e-mail message to an existing e-mail address of the recipient.

摘要： Devices, systems, and methods are described herein that comprise a multi-screen application which allows users to establish communication sessions with other users of the multi-screen application as well as allowing the user to request multimedia content using the same multi-screen application interface. The user makes a connection request to establish a multimedia session by entering a name or phone number. The multi-screen application uses a request string from the connection request to search a user's contact directory in order to determine possible user connection identifiers associated with the request string. The multi-screen application may additionally or alternatively transmit the request string to a directory server maintained by a service provider. The directory server may provide an endpoint for retrieving multimedia content associated with the string. The multi-media application may be used to allow a user to ‘call’ multimedia content using the same user interface used for calling another user.

If mail is intended for delivery to an invalid address, the gateway can generate status messages for delivery to the mail systems or determine if a threshold for delivery attempts to the invalid address has been met. If the threshold has been met, the gateway can request creation of a honeypot email address, and future mail intended for delivery to the invalid address are delivered to a mailbox associated with the honeypot email address. Various actions can be taken with respect to the mail delivered to the honeypot email address including analysis, blacklisting of senders, and/or other actions.
