    • In a method or system for processing a color print image for digital printing at a predetermined printing apparatus, the print image is deconstructed into color separations according to characteristic color curves of the printing apparatus. The color separations are stored in a data unit as greyscale bitmap images and at least one of a color code and color values are associated with each color separation in the data unit. The print image encoded in the data unit is presented at a display device for monitoring or management before printout at the printing apparatus, the print image being presented at the display device by means of at least one of the color code and color values associated with the respective color separations such that the individual color separations are transparently superimposed.

    • A first table, which expresses a color reproducible characteristic of a first output device, is generated, and a second table, which expresses a color reproducible characteristic of a second output device, is generated. Color values of grid points of the first table are mapped to a color gamut of the second output device expressed by the second table. A third table, which expresses a relationship between color values of the first table after mapping processing and device values required to reproduce colors of the color values by the second output device, is generated. With reference to the third table, a profile, which expresses a relationship between color values of grid points arranged on a uniform color space, and device values required to reproduce colors of the color values by the second output device, is generated.

    • A plurality of samples having different pairs of a background color and a text color, and entry fields provided in correspondence with the individual samples and configured to be filled in by a user are printed on a sheet. After the user has filled in the sheet, the sheet is read and analyzed, and color conversion based on the analysis result is performed. The user can view the samples printed on the sheet and can select one of the samples. Thus, even if default colors used for displaying or printing are colors that are difficult to distinguish for the user, the default colors can be reliably changed into desired colors to perform displaying or printing.

    • A method, apparatus and system for transforming a calorimetric adjustment of a sequence of images from an input color space into an output color space includes a color adjustment device for determining a transformation table for converting the input color space of the sequence of images to an output color space, for applying a first order approximation to at least one subset of the sequence of images, the subsets of the sequence of images defined by the transformation table, and if the sequence of images has not reached convergence, for applying a second order approximation to at least one subset of the sequence of images. In one embodiment, the color components of the output color space are defined by a combination of intermediate terms, where the number of the intermediate terms corresponds to the number of input color space components. The transform is configured to survive a video distribution workflow.
