摘要： The present disclosure discloses methods, systems and modules for adjusting an interpupillary distance of a head-mounted 3D display. The method comprising: receiving a signal to start the head-mounted 3D display, after receiving the signal, scanning an interpupillary distance of a user wearing the head-mounted 3D display; setting centers of left and right eye images of a display screen based on the interpupillary distance of the user, wherein the centers of the left and right eye images are symmetrical about a physical midline of the display screen; and playing the same left and right eye guiding images by taking the centers of the left and right eye images as their centers, respectively, on the display screen to guide the user to adjust positions of left and right eye lenses. A head-mounted 3D display adopting the technical solution of this invention has an interpupillary distance adjustment function, making it suitable for different users.

摘要： Stereoscopic image information (3D information) can be efficiently transmitted between electronic devices at high speed. Using a capability register (Capability Register) of MHL, the 3D information is transmitted between devices. (1) An MHL sink device transmits a “SET_INT command” immediately after changing the 3D information of the capability register, a 3D_CHG flag of an MHL source device side is set to “1” and the MHL sink device notifies the MHL source device of the 3D information. (2) The MHL source device responds ACK. (3) The MHL source device recognizes that the 3D_CHG flag is set to 1, transmits a “READ_DEVCAP command” in which address information of the 3D information of the capability register is added to the MHL sink device and reads only the 3D information from the capability register. Using a scratchpad register of MHL, the 3D information is transmitted between the devices and detailed 3D control is performed.

The system comprises: an image generator enabled to provide a stream of stereoscopic images comprising left eye images and right eye images; at least one image modulator enabled to receive the stream of stereoscopic images from the image generator and form light into the stereoscopic images for viewing at a viewing apparatus for filtering the light into the left eye images and the right eye images respectively thereby providing a three dimensional rendering of the stereoscopic images when viewed through the viewing apparatus; and, collimation apparatus enabled to receive and collimate the light from the at least one image modulator, such that rays of light are substantially parallel when the stereoscopic images are received at the viewing apparatus.

The display device determines whether or not the posture of the viewer is within a normal viewing range on the basis of the status information, and if this is within the range, can recognize a 3D display even in a posture other than the horizontal direction by controlling the parallax direction of the display of images in accordance with the inclination direction. When the posture is outside the range, the display device prompts correction of the posture or weakens the effect of the 3D display.
