摘要： A multi-video stream transmission method and a device, where an access point sets an initial sending time and a sending period of an intra frame (I frame) of each station (STA) associated with the access point, and allocates an I frame service period and a predictive frame (P frame) service period to each STA according to the initial sending time and the sending period of the I frame of each STA, where each STA exclusively occupies a channel in the I frame service period and the P frame service period such that I frame sending time of STAs are staggered, network load balance is achieved, and it is ensured that a latency of each STA meets a quality of service (QoS) requirement.

摘要： In a method for transmitting video for a display panel between a transmitter in electronic communication with a receiver over a wireless communication channel, the method includes: receiving, by a transmitter, a data signal from a data source; receiving, by the transmitter, a return signal from a receiver; selecting, by the transmitter based on at least one of channel quality, video quality, codec requirements, or data rate requirements, a profile from among a plurality of profiles each comprising one or more parameters for transmitting the data signal to the receiver, the plurality of profiles comprising one or more profiles corresponding to transmission of uncompressed video data and one or more profiles corresponding to transmission of compressed video data; and transmitting, by the transmitter, the data signal to the receiver according to the selected profile for display on the display panel.

摘要： Systems and methods for managing available bandwidth in a household are provided. A request to access a first media asset is received. A determination is made as to whether a bandwidth currently available in the household is sufficient for enabling access to the first media asset. When the bandwidth currently available in the household is insufficient for enabling access to the first media asset, a search is performed for a second media asset currently consuming a portion of the household bandwidth needed for enabling access to the first media asset. A third media asset is identified having a remaining duration that is more than a remaining duration of the second media asset. A message is displayed that indicates the bandwidth currently available in the household is insufficient to access the first media asset and that has an option to access the third media asset instead of the first media asset.

摘要： Systems and methods for optimizing system performance of capacity and spectrum constrained, multiple-access communication systems by selectively discarding packets are provided. The systems and methods provided herein can drive changes in the communication system using control responses. One such control responses includes the optimal discard (also referred to herein as “intelligent discard”) of network packets under capacity constrained conditions. The systems and methods prioritize packets and make discard decisions based upon the prioritization. Some embodiments provide an interactive response by selectively discarding packets to enhance perceived and actual system throughput, other embodiments provide a reactive response by selectively discarding data packets based on their relative impact to service quality to mitigate oversubscription, others provide a proactive response by discarding packets based on predicted oversubscription, and others provide a combination thereof.

The current segment is downloaded at a first bit rate and the first bit rate is associated with the first connection speed. The method includes determining whether the media file includes a remaining segment to be downloaded. The current segment precedes the remaining segment. The method includes identifying a second bit rate based on the second connection speed, receiving the remaining segment at the second bit rate, and stitching the remaining segment with the current segment.
