In this case, according to one embodiment, a digital device of processing ultra-high definition (UHD) video data includes a receiving unit configured to receive a first signal containing first UHD video data and signaling data for the first UHD video data, a decoder configured to decode the signaling data from the first signal, a user interface unit configured to receive a second signal requesting for converting the first UHD video data to second UHD video data through a remote controller, a controller configured to control a converter to convert the first UHD data to the second UHD data in response to the received second signal, the converter and a display configured to display the converted second UHD video data on a display screen.

摘要： A method and system for streaming a soundtrack from a server to a remote user device for a reader of electronic media content. The soundtrack is defined by multiple audio regions. Each audio region defined by an audio track for playback in the audio region, a start position in the electronic media content corresponding to where the playback of the audio region is to begin, and a stop position in the electronic media content corresponding to where the playback of the audio region is to cease. The streaming of the soundtrack is based on control data generated by the remote user device.

摘要： Systems, methods, and devices for an interactive viewing experience by detecting on-screen data are disclosed. One or more frames of video data are analyzed to detect regions in the visual video content that contain text. A character recognition operation can be performed on the regions to generate textual data. Based on the textual data and the regions, a graphical user interface (GUI) definition to can be generated. The GUI definition can be used to generate a corresponding GUI superimposed onto the visual video content to present users with controls and functionality with which to interact with the text or enhance the video content. Context metadata can be determined from external sources or by analyzing the continuity of audio and visual aspects of the video data. The context metadata can then be used to improve the character recognition or inform the generation of the GUI.

The method also includes generating a command specifying at least one ambient light effect to be associated with at least one scene and sending the command from the receiving device to at least one lighting device in communication with the receiving device to generate at least one ambient light effect associated with at least one scene when the scene is displayed to a user.

摘要： A system for controlling ambient light effects comprises a receiving device including at least one processor programmed to parse incoming video content to detect at least one portion of the incoming video content and determine at least one ambient light effect to be associated with the portion of the video content. The system further comprises a home automation controller in communication with the processor and at least one lighting device in communication with the receiving device and the home automation controller. The processor of the receiving device is programmed to send a command to the home automation controller specifying the ambient light effect determined by the processor to be associated with the portion of the video content. The lighting device generates the ambient light effect specified in the command when the portion of the video content is displayed to a user.
