    • Disclosed is a power-supplying apparatus for an electron gun in a color display tube (CDT) provided with an fly back transformer (FBT) having a focus voltage output terminal and an acceleration voltage output terminal, further having a power supplying part supplying a predetermined reference voltage; a focus voltage detection part detecting a focus voltage of the focus voltage output terminal; and a focus voltage boost part boosting the focus voltage of the focus voltage output terminal in case that the focus voltage detected by the focus voltage detection part is lower than the reference voltage of the power supplying part. With this configuration, it is possible to recover the voltage of the focus voltage output terminal dropped according to the grid discharging of the electron gun in the color display tube to the normal voltage.

    • A power supply circuit employed in various types of electronic appliances, telecommunications equipment, and the like, is provided for generating a voltage pulse by resonance effect of a primary side of a transformer, and outputting the voltage pulse from a secondary side after raising a voltage thereof. The power supply suppresses fluctuations of electric current, and prevents noise from being propagated through a device powered by the supply. A control circuit actuates a second switching element into a non-conducting state while a first switching element is in a conducting state. The power supply switches the second switching element into a conducting state when voltage of a primary coil is greater than voltage of a driving power supply after an electric current flows in a first diode while the first switching element is in a non-conducting state.

    • A display device includes a capacitor which charges or discharges, and an oscillation voltage stabilizing circuit, which prevents an abnormal oscillation by constantly maintaining the oscillation voltage of a pulse width modulation circuit which oscillates according to a time constant of a resistor. The oscillation voltage stabilizing circuit consists of: a pulse input circuit, for detecting a high voltage induced to an output transformer; a forced trigger circuit, for inverting and amplifying a pulse transmitted from the pulse input circuit, and transmitting it to a capacitor of the pulse width modulation circuit; a charge storage device, connected to a trigger terminal of the forced trigger circuit; a signal converter, for converting the output signal of the forced trigger circuit into a voltage; a voltage comparator having a first switching device which is opened or closed in accordance with the voltage transmitted from the signal converter; a control circuit having a second switching device which is opened or closed according to a state of the voltage comparator; and a resistor circuit, for varying its resistance in response to a control signal transmitted from the control circuit.

    • Circuit arrangement for a picture display device for the stabilization of the size of the picture displayed.In picture display devices having cathode-ray tubes, the first anode voltage for these tubes is recovered from the retrace pulse at a corresponding winding of the line transformer, this anode voltage source being of a relatively high ohmic value. As a result thereof, the anode voltage decreases versus an increasing anode current, and consequently, the picture displayed on the display screen becomes larger. More specifically, for picture display devices for word processing, which have a positive display, a very different anode current can flow because of different brightness settings. So as to produce nevertheless a largely constant anode voltage, a circuit arrangement which behaves as a negative resistance is provided at the lower end of the high-voltage winding. The circuit arrangement includes active elements and is supplied by the screen grid voltage, whose value is sufficient to compensate for anode voltage changes caused by changing anode currents.

    • A first run supply voltage is generated, during a power-up mode of a television receiver power supply, by rectifying a retrace voltage in a flyback transformer of a horizontal output stage of the television receiver. The rectified voltage is coupled through a resistor and a diode to a power supply voltage receiving terminal of an integrated circuit that generates a horizontal rate drive signal. The drive signal provides switching timings to the output stage. A standby supply voltage is coupled, during a standby mode, to the terminal. A shunt regulator regulates the voltage at the terminal during both the power-up and standby modes. A transistor having a collector electrode that is coupled to the run supply voltage and a base electrode, that is coupled to the anode of the diode, generates a second run supply voltage that is temperature compensated at an emitter electrode of the transistor.
