The method can comprise the steps of: if a UE performs a handover and both the UE and an opponent device communicating with the UE are capable of supporting rearrangement of a gateway, determining an appropriate gateway for the UE to be rearranged; and transmitting a rearrangement indication to the UE on the basis of the determination.

The present disclosure provides a method of de-activating a local internet protocol access (LIPA) bearer supporting local breakout in a dual-connectivity architecture. When a master eNodeB (MeNB) determines to change a secondary eNodeB (SeNB) serving a user equipment (UE) or hand the UE over from the MeNB to an eNB, the MeNB may trigger a LIPA bearer de-activation process, and then trigger the process of change the SeNB serving the UE or hand the UE over from the MeNB to the eNB. Various examples also provide another method and an apparatus for de-activating a LIPA bearer, for bearer switch, for establishing a LIPA bearer. The methods and apparatus can establish, switch and correctly release local breakout bearer in a dual-connectivity architecture, so as to reduce the load of a core network of an operator.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a packet data network (PDN)-connectivity session to a PDN using a cellular radio access technology (RAT) and migrate the PDN-connectivity session from a source access node (AN) to a target AN. Migration may initiate when a decision to perform a handover is made. The target AN may receive a network address and information about a first data radio link established between the UE and source AN. The target AN may establish a second data radio link with the UE based at least in part on the first data radio link information, and may transmit, to the PDN, a path update including the network address and an updated path via the target AN. In some cases, the target AN may forward packets between the UE and the PDN via the second data radio link.

摘要： Continuous communication during network handovers may ensure the sending and receiving of mission-critical data by over-the-top (OTT) applications is performed without interruption using multiple communication networks. A request from an OTT application to establish a communication session with an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core of a wireless carrier network for routing communication traffic to the IMS core may be received. Subsequently, an access point name (APN) designated by an APN parameter of the OTT application may be determined. Accordingly, in response to a determination that the APN parameter designates a continuous link APN, the communication traffic may be routed via a communication session that seamlessly switches between a continuous link APN bearer on a radio access network of the wireless carrier network and a continuous link APN tunnel on a remote network that connects to an Evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG) of the wireless carrier network.

摘要： A method in a network node for handling a traffic flow of a User Equipment, UE. The network node creates a unique Network Address Translated, NAT:ed, Internet Protocol, IP, address mapping to an IP address of the UE. The NAT:ed IP address includes a local IP address prefix assigned to a related first local service cloud. The NAT:ed IP address is usable for the traffic flow both before and after a handover of the UE from the first local service cloud to a neighbouring second local service cloud. The NAT:ed IP address is unique at least in all local service clouds neighbouring to the first local service cloud, including the second local service cloud. The network node assigns the NAT:ed IP address to the UE for local break out of the traffic flow of the application session to the first local service cloud.
