摘要： A latching mechanism for a portable electronic device includes a housing, a cover, a button, a latching member and at least one elastic member. The housing defines a latching hole. The cover defines a guide slot along a first direction. The button is assembled in the cover and movable along the guide slot. The latching member is secured with the button in a first direction and movable along a second direction, perpendicular with the first direction. The at least one elastic member is assembled between the button and the latching member. The latching member latches into the latching hole to secure the cover with the housing in the first direction. The button is pushed and slides along the guide slot. The latching member slides out the latching hole to unlatch the cover in the first direction.

A slide part is carried by the guide part, shiftable relative to the guide part between a closed position restraining the second container portion and an open position releasing the slide part from the second container portion. A guide catch part is integral with said guide part and a slide part including a depressible flap. A slide catch part is integral with said depressible flap. Interaction between said guide catch part and said slide catch part restrains said slide part against movement from said closed position into said open position. Actuating said depressible flap releases said slide catch part from being restrained by said guide catch part and frees the slide part to move from the closed to open position.

Thus, when the inner handle is rotated, the latch bolt and the dead bolt are unlocked synchronously by operation of the quick unlocking device, so that the door plate can be opened rapidly, thereby facilitating the user opening the door during the emergency condition. In addition, when the locking block is pressed inward, the locking stud of the locking block is locked in the locking hole of the locking seat to lock the control knob on the locking seat without rotation, such that the dead bolt is fixed by the control knob, thereby forming a secondary locking effect to achieve the anti-theft purpose.

The locking bars are normally biased to an unlocked position within the door. The bars can be manually moved to project from the ends of the post in a locked position. A single locking finger in the post automatically holds the locking bars in their locked position. A cylinder lock on each side of the post can be operated to move the locking finger to a position allowing the locking bars to withdraw to an unlocked position.

摘要： A releasable bolt device 1 for securing an emergency exit door 2 comprises a support structure 3 of box-like form, a bolt member 4 slidably mounted on the structure 3 for movement relative thereto, a compression spring 5 for urging the bolt member 4 away from the door-securing position, a frangible keep member 6, and a plate 7 for retaining the keep member 6 in place whereby its presence maintains the bolt member 4 in a door-securing position. The frangible keep member 6 is weakened locally so that it may be deliberately broken at that locality by manual force applied to it, whereby the bolt member 4 is moved out of its door-securing position by the spring 5.
