摘要： A system for heating an object includes an electromagnetic radiation source emitting electromagnetic radiation, a first stage, a second stage, and a third stage. The object is placed into the first stage where it is struck by electromagnetic radiation to thereby heat the object. The object is then transported to the second stage which has a cooling fluid flowing therein. The object moves through the second stage to cool down subsequent to being struck by the electromagnetic radiation. Air and any particulate matter produced by the electromagnetic radiation striking the object in the first stage is transported to the third stage. In the third stage, electromagnetic radiation is used to incinerate some of the particulate matter. The air in the third stage is vented out of the third stage through a filter.

The pour tray has a bottom surface and a mounting bracket extending from the bottom surface. The mounting bracket is configured to detachably couple to the interior edge of the housing defining the opening. In an assembled configuration, the bottom surface of the pour tray is oriented at an angle relative to the top peripheral surface of the housing and supported by a shoulder or side peripheral surface of the housing.

The housing defines an upper end, a lower end, and an isolation chamber open to the upper end. The heating element and the fan are within the housing, with the fan being positioned between the heating element and the lower end. The roasting chamber unit defines a roasting chamber, a leading region and a trailing region terminating at a trailing end. In an assembled state, a portion of the roasting chamber unit is disposed within the isolation chamber and the trailing portion is proximate the heating element. The roasting chamber unit is supported relative to the base unit by an interface with the support surface at a location longitudinally spaced from the trailing end.

摘要： A method of cleaning a roaster bowl having a pouring lip and a cover (e.g., sugar or other coating is adhered to the bowl, its pouring lip and the cover). Water is added to the roaster bowl and the cover is placed over the roaster bowl. An appropriately sized and located steam vent is disposed between the cover and roaster bowl, adjacent to the bowl's pouring lip. The roaster bowl is heated to boil the water to produce steam that dissolves the sugar adhered to the roaster bowl and to the underside of the cover. Steam exiting the bowl via the vent condenses on the pouring lip to dissolve the sugar that is adhered to the pouring lip, and the sugar-laden steam drips back into the bowl thus cleaning the pouring lip.
