摘要： A water-fed pole for window cleaning including: an extendable pole having two or more pole sections, the pole sections being moveable relative to each other, in use, to extend and shorten the pole; and one or more clamps, each clamp being coupled to a given pole section and being operable to clamp the given pole section to an adjacent pole section, thereby fixing, in use, the length of the pole. 摘要： The invention is a windshield washer preparation, a method for producing the preparation and a device that produces the preparation. The method uses the dehydration of methanol and distillation of dimethyl ether to produce the preparation and a propellant for pressurized packaging. The washer preparation contains deionized water, methanol, dimethyl ether, dimethyl carbonate and additional compounds selected from the group consisting of dyes, de-foaming agents and surfactants. The disclosed method and device can formulate varying combinations of methanol, deionized water and dimethyl ether using the methanol dehydration reaction prior to the addition of dimethyl carbonate. The preparation can be used in automobile washer reservoirs or directly on the windshield using trigger spray applicators or an aerosol can. The excess dimethyl ether from the method can be used taken from the system and stored for future use.

The support frame can further provide a housing to shield the marking device from damage when not in use. The marking device can be shaped as a razorblade and be configured to fit into any standard utility knife, which may serve as the support frame. Such an arrangement allows a utility knife to be reversibly converted into a carpenter pencil.

The electrical switch is operatively connected to the power source and to the electric motor and is operable by the user to connect the power source to the electric motor to facilitate the pumping of said fluid through said spray nozzle.
