摘要： A method of providing a deluge system (10) on a boom (12) such as a boom that is used to conduct well flaring operations at an end thereof. The deluge system comprises a base unit (30), a stanchion (20), and a nozzle apparatus (22); the method comprising attaching the deluge system to a burner boom with a walkway, such that there remains a width of at least 30 cm clear passage on the boom's walkway after the deluge system has been attached. This provides an escape and/or rescue route for personnel should a dangerous situation occur, such as uncontrolled fire or personnel falling overboard. In preferred embodiments, the deluge system is attached to the boom outboard of handrail supports (which includes on a single handrail). The deluge system may have its own mechanism e.g. a winch, for moving the stanchion from a stowed position to an operative position which allows a safe and more optimum positioning of the stanchion away from the well flaring operation, as herein described. In a preferred embodiment, the stanchion is provided as part of a moveable member which is rotationally attached to a connection mechanism of the base unit at a connection point spaced away from an end of the moveable member. This allows the moveable member to have a counter weight system and reduces the amount of force required to move the moveable member, avoiding mechanical constraints.

摘要： A power spout device includes a generally hollow main body having an outlet opening and an inlet opening for engaging the downspout outlet of a horizontal gutter. An elongated paddle is positioned within the main body and is mechanically connected to an electric motor. A fluid sensor is also positioned within the main body and is electrically connected to the motor. The fluid sensor functioning to selectively operate the motor upon detecting the presence of rainwater from the downspout outlet. A controller having a wireless communication unit is positioned along the main body. The controller functioning to receive operating instructions from a remote-control device. An adjustable nozzle is positioned along the output opening to adjust the vertical angle of the water being discharged out of the outlet opening.

The static connection (16′) supportably attached the fluid module (12′) to the drive module (14′). The dynamic connection (18′) connects a drive (84) of the drive module (14′) to a pump (24′) of the fluid module (12′) such that the drive (84) can power the pump (24′) by the dynamic connection (18′). The fluid contacting components of the handheld sprayer (10′) are in the fluid module (12′). The fluid module (12′) can be mounted to and dismounted from the drive module (14′) by a sliding motion.

The first O-ring is provided annularly about a perimeter of the first portion and the second portion to secure the first portion and the second portion relative to one another. Upon receiving the mounting puck, the mounting puck urges the first portion into an open position to receive the mounting puck within the cradle assembly.

摘要： A vehicle washing assembly holds a hose used for washing a vehicle away from the vehicle to minimize scratching and make it easier to manipulate the hose. The vehicle washing assembly employs an anchor suction cup attached to a vehicle's window to be cleaned. A connection body connects to the anchor suction cup, which fluidically connects a lower hose to an upper conduit that extends well above the vehicle roof. A stabilizing bar is also attached to the anchor suction cup and extends upward. A clamp attaches the upper conduit to the stabilizing bar stabilizing the upper conduit. A second hose is connected to the upper end of the upper conduit that is used to wash the vehicle. The upper conduit keeps the hose well away from the vehicle and allows it to move freely around the vehicle.
