摘要： Provided are methods and systems for cleaning various semiconductor substrate storage articles, in particular, FOUP doors. The FOUP doors and other similar articles often have openings that may get contaminated with cleaning liquids if not covered. The described cleaning system includes contact points for engaging the article and covering these openings. The contact points may be also used for supporting the article and for pressurizing the openings in the article with a gas. The gas may be supplied through one or more contact points. It prevents liquids from getting into the openings if even the openings are not completely sealed. The pressurization may be maintained through the entire wet portion of the cleaning process. The article may be rotated within the cleaning system while cleaning and/or other liquids or gases are dispensed through a set of spraying nozzles. Spraying nozzles may move to enhance cleaning of the article.

摘要： A method of using an ultrasonic system includes positioning at least one component to a ultrasonic system, the ultrasonic system including: an ultrasonic device, comprising a plurality of ultrasonic transducers coupled to a flexible body; a power supply coupled to the ultrasonic device; a fluid vessel configured to supply fluid to the at least one component; and a waste vessel configured to collect the fluid supplied to the ultrasonic device from the fluid vessel. The method includes applying, via the power supply, a current to a plurality of ultrasonic transducers to dislodge a plurality of contaminants from the at least one component. The method includes flushing, via fluid from the fluid vessel, the plurality of contaminants dislodged from the at least one component.

摘要： A device for cleaning items comprises an enclosure defining a wash chamber, a rotor positioned within the wash chamber and selectively rotatable about an axle, a motor for selectively rotating the axle, a dispenser, and a drain. The rotor comprises a plurality of holders spaced about the axle and adapted to selectively receive and hold a respective item to be cleaned. The dispenser at least one liquid input and at least one liquid output and is positioned such that the at least one liquid output directs cleaning fluid at one of the items to clean material out of the cavities. The drain is for draining the cleaning fluid out of the chamber. The rotor is selectively rotatable at a predefined rotational speed for a predefined amount of time to expel cleaning fluid from the cavities of each item to be cleaned.

摘要： The method and system uses ultrasound (US) transducers in contact with an inboard surface underwater portions of marine vessels or structures. By first digitally generating disruptive, multi-frequency, interfering US waveform signals (complex waveforms, typically replicating a Bessel function) and then converting the signals into analog, the transducers generate disruptive, multi-frequency, interfering US waveforms through the underwater portions of the marine vessels and structures which waveforms disrupt unwanted marine growth on the water-side of the vessel or structure. The digital signals, and also the analog signals, are complex waveform signals, typically produced with a Bessel function. The US transducers are either circular membrane transducers or surface transducers. A computer processor coupled to a memory, generates the complex waveform signals fed to the US transducers.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for removing a foreign material from the surface of an article comprising the following steps: i) providing an article having a surface covered at least partly with a foreign material; ii) contacting the article provided in step i) with a cleaning medium being an acid having a pKa in the range from −10 to 7 having a minimum concentration of 1 wt.-% and with a carrier medium having a density different from the density of the cleaning medium to obtain a mixture comprising the foreign material solved and/or dispersed in the cleaning medium, the carrier medium and the article free from the foreign material; iii) allowing the mixture obtained in step ii) to separate to obtain a heterophasic emulsion comprising at least a first phase comprising the carrier medium and the article free from the foreign material and a second phase comprising the cleaning medium and the foreign material solved and/or dispersed therein; iv) separating the phases obtained in step iii); and v) separating the article free from the foreign material from the carrier medium. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an installation for carrying out the inventive process.
