摘要： A fin manufacturing method and apparatus includes: a first inter-row slit device that forms, by forming in a thin metal plate having a plurality of openings a plurality of slits extending in a longitudinal direction of the thin metal plate while leaving an uncut portion between the plurality of slits, metal strips partially coupled to each other in a transverse direction; a feed roller and a feeding device that convey, in the longitudinal direction, the metal strips in which the plurality of slits is formed by the first inter-row slit device; and a stacking device that (i) forms fins by cutting the uncut portion via which the metal strips are coupled to each other, to separate the metal strips and by cutting the metal strips at regular length intervals and (ii) stacks the formed fins.

摘要： A method for transferring heat between a first fluid and a second fluid includes providing a tubeless heat exchanger having a tubeless heat exchanger core, the tubeless heat exchanger core having an inner casing and an outer casing disposed around the inner casing, the inner and outer casings defining therebetween a flow passage for a thermal transfer fluid to flow, the tubeless heat exchanger core having a core inlet arranged to receive the first fluid and a core outlet arranged to provide the first fluid, the core inlet and core outlet being fluidically connected to the flow passage, and at least one of the core inlet and core outlet being disposed on the inner casing, wherein each of the outer casing and the inner casing has an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the respective inner surfaces face each other and define therebetween the flow passage for the first fluid to flow from the core inlet to the core outlet and wherein at least a portion of the respective outer surfaces are arranged to be contacted by the second fluid, and providing the first fluid into the core inlet to transfer heat between the first fluid and the second fluid through at least a portion of both the inner and outer casings. In some embodiments, the first fluid may be a thermal transfer fluid, the second fluid may be a production fluid, and the production fluid may be held in a vessel, such as a pressure vessel.

A method of making the heat exchanger includes forming a turbulating insert, removing a portion of the turbulating insert to create a cavity within the turbulating insert, placing the remaining turbulating insert into a stamped first plate, and placing the removed portion of the turbulating insert into the cavity at a non-zero angle of rotation relative to the remaining turbulating insert.

摘要： The present invention relates to an intermediate product for joining and coating by brazing comprising a base metal and a blend of boron and silicon, said base metal having a solidus temperature above 1040° C., and the intermediate product has at least partly a surface layer of the blend on the base metal, wherein the boron in the blend is selected from a boron source, and the silicon in the blend is selected from a silicon source, and wherein the blend comprises boron and silicon in a ratio of boron to silicon within a range from about 3:100 wt/wt to about 100:3 wt/wt. The present invention relates also to a stacked intermediate product, to an assembled intermediate product, to a method of brazing, to a brazed product, to a use of an intermediate product, to a pre-brazed product, to a blend and to paint.
