摘要： A mandrel for use in a printing apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical mandrel shaft and plastic expansion rings that are slidably and coaxially mounted on the mandrel shaft. The mandrel also includes a locking assembly including a fixed stop ring and a single locking ring that is axially movably mounted on the mandrel shaft. The expansion rings are positioned between the stop ring and the locking ring. In the unlocked position of the locking ring the expansion rings are in a released state in which the axial compression and the radial expansion of the expansion rings are smaller than in a locked position of the locking ring. A printing cylinder sleeve can be fixedly connected to the mandrel by bringing the expansion rings in the radially expanded state. When the printing cylinder sleeve has to be exchanged, this is feasible when the expansion rings are in the released state.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a printing blanket without wrinkles in a sheet is provided, the printing blanket including an elastic body and a sheet bonded to a surface thereof, the method being configured to press a surface of the sheet against a surface to be printed, to perform printing, and including: fixing the sheet at a periphery of a region of the sheet to be bonded to the elastic body; mounting the elastic body to oppose a bonding surface of the elastic body to a bonding surface of the fixed sheet; applying an adhesive to at least one of the bonding surface of the sheet or the bonding surface of the elastic body; and pressing the bonding surface of the sheet and the bonding surface of the elastic body against each other to bring the sheet into close contact with the elastic body through intermediation of the adhesive while stretching the sheet along the surface of the elastic body.

The printing sleeves include an outer printing sleeve forming a printing surface and an inner printing sleeve providing diameter compensation between the outer printing sleeve and an impression cylinder of the printing machine. The apparatus having a reception device onto which an inner printing sleeve can be pushed for mounting the two printing sleeves. The apparatus having at least one compressed-air device for facilitating the fixing of the inner printing sleeve on the reception device and for conducting compressed air through orifices assigned to the inner printing sleeve in order thereby to make it possible for an outer printing sleeve to be pushed more easily onto the inner printing sleeve.

摘要： The object of the invention is attained in a manner where is at least one image pickup device is provided for picking up image signals obtained from at least one surface of a printed image, and a steering and control device connected to the pickup device in which the image sequences are stored. Furthermore, the image signals are examined for presence of jumps or transitions in tone values, and the position coordinates of the transitions in tone value jumps are stored. In a further step the frequency of those tone value jumps, in direction of the coordinates, which exceeds a given threshold value, are recorded, and applied to develop a signal for indicating need to replace the dressing.

摘要： A rubber blanket cylinder for offset printing utilizes a cylinder body that has magnetic strips to retain a rubber blanket packing comprised of a rubber blanket and a ferromagnetic rubber blanket support. A fastening strip is positioned on the circumference of the cylinder body and extends axially along the cylinder. The rubber blanket packing is prevented from wandering or shifting by the fastening strip. A free end of the fastening strip is covered by the rubber blanket which is thus fastened on the cylinder body in an essentially gap-free manner.

The ejection device uses one or more ejection pins and cooperating leaf springs to position the edge strip during its insertion and ejection into and from the press blanket clamping device.
