    • A vacuum wiper, comprising a housing, a connection port, multiple holes and a hole adjusting means; the housing contains a cavity; the connection port is disposed on the housing and is in communication with the cavity; the multiple holes are disposed on the housing in the length direction of the housing, such that the cavity of the vacuum wiper housing is able to be in fluid communication with the outside via the multiple holes. The vacuum wiper has a maximum vacuumizing length when all of the multiple holes are in communication with the outside. The hole adjusting means is configured to be capable of blocking one or more of the multiple holes in sequence from two ends in the length direction of arrangement of the multiple holes of the vacuum wiper, such that the vacuum wiper is able to adjust the vacuumizing length. The provision of the hole adjusting means enables the vacuum wiping apparatus to have an adjustable vacuumizing length, in order to match the wiping of stencils with different length specifications, thereby effectively increasing the vacuumizing efficiency of the vacuum wiping apparatus and reducing the production cost.

    • The invention relates to a coating line (1) cleaning apparatus (20) and a method for cleaning at least a selected part of a coating line. The coating line cleaning apparatus comprising a conveyed entity having first and second mutually opposed major faces and at least one flexible cleaning element (12) having first and second mutually opposed major faces, said cleaning element being characterised in that each one of said first (15) and second (11) major faces is tacky, the first of said tacky faces of said cleaning element being releasably adhered to one of the major faces (8) of the conveyed entity (4), and the second tacky major face of said cleaning element being temporarily contactable with the selected part (14) of the coating line to bring said second tacky major face (11) of the cleaning element into temporary contact with said selected part of a coating line to cause any contaminants present on said selected part (14) of a coating line (1) to adhere to said second tacky major face (11) of said cleaning element thereby causing any contaminants to be removed from said selected part of a coating line (1).

    • There is described an installation (01; 02) for recycling wiping solution of one or more intaglio printing presses (10) comprising a flocculation tank (12) for inducing flocculation of ink constituents contained in waste solution coming from the one or more intaglio printing presses (10), a processing tank (14) for pre-treating the waste solution for subsequent filtering, and a filtering unit (15), preferably a filter press unit, for filtering the waste solution coming from the processing tank (14) and producing recycled solution at an output of the filtering unit (15), which recycled solution is recycled to produce fresh wiping solution for use by the one or more intaglio printing presses (10). According to one embodiment, the installation (01) further comprises a centrifugation unit (13) for separating the waste solution coming from the flocculation tank (12) by centrifugation into precipitate and centrifuged supernatant, which centrifuged supernatant is fed to the processing tank (14). According to a second embodiment, the installation (02) further comprises a decantation unit (13a) for separating the waste solution coming from the flocculation tank (12) by decantation into precipitate and decanted supernatant, which decanted supernatant is fed to the processing tank (14), and a centrifugation unit (13b) for further separating the precipitate produced by the decantation unit (13a) by centrifugation into further precipitate and centrifuged supernatant, which centrifuged supernatant is fed to the processing tank (14). There are also described corresponding processes for recycling wiping solution.
