摘要： A sample storage assembly for storing a plurality of sample packets includes a sheet that is positionable in a three ring binder for storing the sheet. A plurality of pockets is each coupled to the sheet to insertably receive a sample packet. Each of the pockets is expandable or collapsible to contain a varying number of the sample packets. A plurality of elastomeric bands is each coupled to the sheet. Each of the elastomeric bands is aligned with respective ones of the pockets. Each of the sample packets is extendable beneath a respective one of the elastomeric bands. In this way each of the elastomeric bands inhibits the sample packets from falling out of the pockets.

摘要： A file folder is comprised of the conventional elements of a back cover, a plurality of compartment dividers, and a front cover located in front of the compartment dividers. According to the novel features of the invention the front cover is formed of a lower face portion and an upper shield portion delineated from the lower face portion by a laterally extending fold that extends across the entire width of the front cover. The upper shield portion is biased toward an extended disposition to project upwardly above the upper edges of the compartment dividers. Furthermore, a latch is provided on the upper shield portion and a catch is located on the lower face portion of the front cover. The catch is engageable with the latch when at least part of the shield portion is forced downwardly, bending in articulated fashion into a disposition facing the lower face portion. When all or part of the upper shield portion is in this folded disposition the upper regions and index tabs of the compartment dividers are clearly visible and accessible from in front of the file folder.

摘要： An improved method and apparatus for forming notches at a fold for the corner portion of an expandable gusset envelope, such as a file pocket. A pleated gusset member is placed on a ridged upper surface of a table structure of the apparatus, thereby initiating operation of the apparatus. The bottom portion of the pleated gusset member is clamped against the top of the table. Pressing rolls bend the end portion of the clamped gusset member downwardly against a ridged side surface of the table. The pressing rolls then are rolled upwardly with respect to the pleats of the end portion and form notches adjacent the fold at the clamped bottom portion of the gusset member. A plurality of stacked and gusset members can be notched at one time.
