摘要： Systems and methods herein are directed to an interior trim system of a front pillar of a vehicle. The interior trim system can include a panel. The panel can include a user-facing surface and an interior surface located opposite the user-facing surface. The interior surface can define a volume of space to house a curtain air bag in an attached position. The panel can include a boss extending from the interior surface of the panel. The panel can include an aperture extending from the user-facing surface through the boss. The interior trim system can include a shoulder bolt. The shoulder bolt can have a head portion, a flange, a smooth portion, and a threaded portion. The panel can move relative to the shoulder bolt by a threshold distance in a deployed position such that the curtain air bag can deploy through an opening created by movement of the panel.

摘要： An airbag module for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle includes a curtain airbag and a mounting bracket. The curtain airbag includes a mounting tab configured to receive a fastener for connecting the curtain airbag to the vehicle. The mounting bracket is configured to cooperate with the mounting tab to facilitate the connection of the curtain airbag to the vehicle via the fastener. The mounting bracket includes a generally planar body portion and a fastening structure that extends transversely from the body portion. The mounting tab includes overlying layers of material that help define a pocket configured to receive the mounting bracket. The mounting tab includes a first fastener opening configured to receive the fastening structure so that the fastening structure extends through the first fastener opening with the body portion positioned in the pocket. The fastening structure is configured for installation in the vehicle structure to initially support the airbag module in the vehicle. The airbag module further includes a fastener configured to extend through the mounting tab and the mounting bracket to connect the airbag module to the vehicle.

摘要： An automotive front seat overhead airbag includes a supporting air chamber and a protective air chamber mounted on a roof. The supporting air chamber is inflated from the roof towards a dashboard upon inflation. The protective air chamber is in communication with the supporting air chamber. After the supporting air chamber is inflated, the protective air chamber is inflated from the supporting air chamber towards the human body. A first protective space is reserved between the supporting air chamber and the protective air chamber on a side facing the human body. The first protective space corresponds to the head of the human body for protecting the head and neck of the human body. An automobile includes a roof and a dashboard, and further includes the automotive front seat overhead airbag described above. An upper end of the supporting air chamber is connected to a gas generator.
