摘要： A powered wheelbarrow assembly includes a wheelbarrow that includes a frame and a bucket that is hingedly coupled to the frame. A pair of front wheels is each rotatably coupled to the frame to roll on a support surface. A pair of rear wheels is each pivotally coupled to the frame to roll on the support surface. Each of the rear wheels is rotatable about a vertical axis for steering the wheelbarrow. A motor is coupled to the frame and a drive unit is movably coupled to the frame. The drive unit is in mechanical communication between the motor and the front wheels such that the motor rotates the front wheels when the motor is engaged. In this way the motor reduces the effort required to transport a load in the wheelbarrow. A clutch is movably coupled to the frame for engaging and disengaging the drive unit.

摘要： A wheelbarrow having a load carrying body supported on a chassis. An electrically powered axle assembly is located at one end of the chassis and has a pair of wheels disposed at opposite sides of the axle assembly. The chassis includes a pair of side plates that extend downwardly to provide legs and a cross member extending between the side plates to maintain them in spaced relationship. A shelf extends between the side plates and is spaced below the underside of the body to provide a cavity to receive a battery. A pair of handles is secured to the side plates, one on each side of the body to transfer loads from the handles in to the chassis and the body is secured to the handles and side plates at a common connection.

摘要： A two-wheeled wheelbarrow, cart or transporter has an assisted lift dumping barrow providing continuously biased forward tilting of the barrow relative to the frame thereof through two gas springs while maintaining the legs and wheels on the ground. A first gas spring is connected to a right side handle of the frame of the wheelchair and to a right rear underside of the barrow. A second gas spring is connected to a left side handle of the frame of the wheelbarrow and to a left rear underside of the barrow. Each gas spring provides a continuous bias or pressure against the rear of the barrow for assisting in pivoting and lifting the rear of the barrow for dumping its contents. A latch keeps the barrow from raising until released. A separate rear barrow handle aids in overcoming bias of the gas springs for lowering the rear of the barrow.
