Substantially all of the beads have a diameter within 25% of Dmax, where Dmax is a diameter corresponding to a size of an opening of an upper limit sieve used in the shipping system. Also disclosed are a spacer for use in a shipping system for shipping planar substrates, a wrapped system for shipping planar substrates, a method of wrapping a system for shipping planar substrates, and a powder applicator.

摘要： A flexible package for storing and transporting bulk goods. Such flexible package can have material-impermeable connections for spreading out sections of the flexible package wall so as to correspond to a predefined shape. One or more docking connections for filling and discharging can be included. The flexible package can have a square bottom and adjacent to the sides thereof triangular stubs as lateral walls. Together, such lateral walls can form an upwardly open pyramid shape. Opposite the bottom, a coupling element can be connected in such a manner that it presents the flexible package so as to be sealable in a standardized manner on open-sided ends of the lateral walls.

摘要： Self-heating systems for rapidly and effectively heating a comestible substance are disclosed. Self-heating systems generally include a reaction chamber and a heating chamber. The heating chamber contains a substance to be heated. The reaction chamber contains reactants that, when contacted, exothermically react. The containers and reactants can be configured to heat at least six fluid ounces of comestible substance in less than one minute. The solid chemical reactant mixture can comprise magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and/or calcium oxide. Methods for heating at least six fluid ounces of comestible substance in less than one minute are also provided.

摘要： A cover assembly has a plurality of covers that are movable between an open and closed position to cover access openings in a base. The assembly includes a locking assembly for locking one or more of the covers in the closed position. The locking assembly includes a locking tab on the base that has two locking apertures. One locking aperture receives a lock to overlie a front face of each of the covers to prevent the covers from opening. A second locking aperture is oriented to mate with an aperture in a locking tab on one of the covers to lock the cover in a closed position while allowing the other cover to open independently of the other. In another embodiment, one cover has a flange that overlies at least a portion of the other cover so that locking one of covers prevents both covers from being opened.
