摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods for assembling elastomeric laminates, wherein elastic material may be stretched and joined with either or both first and second substrates. A first beam is rotated to unwind a first plurality of elastic strands from the first beam in the machine direction. The first plurality of elastic strands are positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate to form the elastomeric laminate. Before the first plurality of elastic strands are completely unwound from the first beam, a second beam is rotated to unwind the second plurality of elastic strands from the second beam. Subsequently, the advancement of the first plurality of elastic strands from the first beam is discontinued. Thus, the elastomeric laminate assembly process may continue uninterrupted while switching from an initially utilized elastic material drawn from the first beam to a subsequently utilized elastic material drawn from the second beam.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to one or a combination of an absorbent article's chassis, inner leg cuffs, outer leg cuffs, ear panels, side panels, waistbands, and belts that may comprise one or more pluralities of tightly spaced (less than 4 mm) and/or low Average-Dtex (less than 300 dtex) and/or low Average-Pre-Strain (less than 300%) elastics to deliver low Pressure Under Strand (less than 1 psi), while providing adequate Section-Modulus (between about 2 gf/mm and 15 gf/mm) to make the article easy to apply and to comfortably maintain the article in place on the wearer, even with a loaded core (holding at least 100 mls of liquid), to provide for the advantages described above. Further, the elastomeric laminates of the present disclosure outperform existing laminates currently used for disposable absorbent articles as it relates to one or more key parameters.

摘要： A method for feeding a yarn or thread to a processing machine, such as a textile machine, the method includes unwinding the yarn from a bobbin, bringing it into cooperation with a rotary member and then directing it to a sensor member arranged to verify its feed tension to the processing machine, with monitoring of the yarn feed velocity. The measured tension and measured velocity data being fed to a control unit which controls the yarn feed to the machine. The tension is continuously controlled by the unit to maintain it constant then, if this tension condition is verified, the velocity is controlled to render it constant, while at the same time the tension value is continuously monitored to verify whether it remains constant. This constant tension and constant velocity control of the yarn feed to the processing machine being implemented without synchronization with the machine.

All the operations are automatically performed by the machine with fast speed, enhancing production.

摘要： A system and method for producing a spool having a continuous fabric strip is disclosed which produces an extended length fabric strip made from a plurality of seamed standard lengths of the fabric, the extended length fabric strip being substantially spirally wound upon a hollow core with consecutive windings of the extended length fabric strip being located close adjacent each other, and with consecutive rows of the extended length fabric strip overlaying each other on the hollow core. In a first embodiment, the standard length fabric strips are joined together at their respective contiguous ends using a small strip of heat-activated seaming tape. In a second embodiment, the standard length fabric strips are stitched together at their respective contiguous ends using thread. The winding operation simultaneously controls both the lateral position at which the extended length fabric strip is wound onto the core and the rotation of the core to achieve the tight and highly compact winding operation, with the speed of the winding operation being controlled according to the amount of the extended length fabric strip which is available at any given time. The extended length fabric strip is suitable for use in the manufacture of paint roller covers.
