    • An ejection device (11) for containers containing compounds has a receiving chamber (12) for the container, a piston rod (13) which is displaceable relative to the receiving chamber (12), and an ejection unit (16) having a housing (17), a forward feed element (18) which is pivotally supported in the housing (17) for advancing the piston rod (13), and a handle (19) with an actuation lever (21) which is pivotal around an axis of rotation (22) and which has an effort arm (25) with a hand grip and a load arm (24). Pressure transmission means (23) is provided at the end of the load arm (24) facing the forward feed element (18) and can be brought into contact with the forward feed element for actuating the forward feed element (18). The length (L1) of the load arm (24), which is determined by a distance from the pressure transmission means (23) to the axis of rotation (22) of the actuation lever (21), is adjustable by displacing a bearing pin (31) that forms the axis of rotation of the actuation lever, in a guide slot provided in the actuation lever (21).

    • A content discharge mechanism of a pump type container, which prevents the position of a content discharge outlet from moving following discharge operation is disclosed. The mechanism includes an operation button 1; a sheath-shaped piston 2 interlocking with the operation button 1; a suction valve including annular reception surface 3c and spherical body 5 actuated in response to the movement of the sheath-shaped piston 2; an upstream passage A formed between the sheath-shaped piston 2 and the suction valve; a downstream passage B communicated with the upstream passage A and formed between it and a discharge outlet 8b; and a pressure storage type discharge valve including annular edge part 8a and annular tapered surface 9a. In a discharge finishing mode, the pressure in the contents is lowered by permitting the downstream side passage B to be communicated with a passage outside space region E via a hole 3f, to close the discharge valve.

    • A volumetric displacement dispenser and method of using the dispenser is disclosed for dispensing liquid contents from an interior of a bottle with a bottle neck while preventing air from filling a void created within the interior of the bottle caused by the liquid contents being poured out of the bottle by gravity. The dispenser includes a stopper having first and second boreholes extending there through, the stopper being adapted to form an air-tight seal when it is seated into the bottle neck. An air pressure tube routed through the first of the boreholes has a first end open to atmospheric air and a second end open to the interior of the bottle. An expandable volumetric displacement balloon is attached to the second end of the air pressure tube and a one-way liquid valve is disposed in the outlet of the liquid flow channel in the stopper.
