摘要： In general, a smart door alarm and locking mechanism and methods for use thereof are provided for maintaining security while providing ease of access to a fuel dispenser. In an exemplary embodiment, the methods and devices are used in fuel dispensing devices for providing fuel to a vehicle. However, the methods and devices can be utilized in any device having a payment system where security and access are both required. In some embodiments, the described methods and systems include a door alarm and door lock kit that allow unlocking one or more doors in a housing of a fuel dispenser and simultaneously disabling or de-activating respective door alarm sensor(s). In a similar manner, the door can be locked and the door alarm sensor activated or re-activated substantially simultaneously.

摘要： A fuel dispensing system includes a fuel tank adapted to contain a quantity of fuel. A fuel dispenser in is fluid communication with the fuel tank via piping. A pump is operative to transfer fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel dispenser. A corrosive detection assembly operative to identify presence of a corrosive substance in the fuel is also provided. The corrosive detection assembly has at least one thermoelectric detector positioned to be in contact with fuel vapor in the fuel dispensing system, the thermoelectric detector producing a detector signal indicating presence of the corrosive substance. Electronics are in electrical communication with the thermoelectric detector, the electronics being operative to interpret the detector signal and produce an output if the corrosive substance is present. The at least one thermoelectric detector may comprises a plurality of thermoelectric detectors at different locations in the fuel dispensing system.

摘要： An auxiliary or additive fluid for associated use with the primary diesel or related fuel, for application for reduction of exhaust pollution, and for motor or truck vehicle, or the like, includes the nozzle, the nozzle having its spout extending from its forward end, the spout having an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve through which the fluid flows during dispensing, a lower sleeve capable of shifting within the outer sleeve, and integrated with a safety valve sleeve, and biased axially inwardly of the spout when it is inserted into the fluid intake pipe of a vehicle intake for a fluid tank. A primary safety valve extends through the lower spout sleeve, and the integral safety valve sleeve is maintained in a fixed position, and normally is sealed into closure within the lower end of the lower spout sleeve. But, when the lower spout sleeve is forced axially inwardly, it unseats the safety valve from its sealing therewith, to open the spout for the dispensing of the fuel when the nozzle is actuated to allow fluid flow. In addition, a flow path for air that is normally closed by a check valve, is likewise opened, to allow for the passage of air to maintain the inoperativeness of the automatic shut-off, until such time as the fluid flow closes off the lower end said passage, initiating the automatic shut-off of the fluid dispensing nozzle, when the intake of air is blocked.

摘要： A system ensures the correct type of fuel is dispensed in an aircraft while removing the introduction of human error in the refueling process. The system includes an RFID tag disposed at one or more aircraft that electronically stores data such as engine type, engine hours, fuel type, tail number, and pilot/subscriber data for the aircraft on which the RFID tag is disposed. An RFID reader is disposed at or near a fuel dispensing mechanism, such as a fuel truck or tank. A signal indicative of fuel type is emitted from the RFID tag to the RFID reader. RFID tags on aircraft that are enrolled in the system's subscription service enable aircraft to be recognized by a module operating the fuel dispensing mechanism. Based on a comparison performed by the module, authorization to begin fueling is either permitted or declined.
