摘要： Described are cementitious reagent materials produced from globally abundant inorganic feedstocks. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such cementitious reagent materials and forming the reagent materials as microspheroidal glassy particles. Also described are apparatuses, systems and methods for the thermochemical production of glassy cementitious reagents with spheroidal morphology. The apparatuses, systems and methods make use of an in-flight melting/quenching technology such that solid particles are flown in suspension, melted in suspension, and then quenched in suspension. The cementitious reagents can be used in concrete to substantially reduce the CO2 emission associated with cement production.

摘要： A process for reforming the fly ash by heating a raw fly ash powder that contains the unburned carbon and thereby decreasing the content of the unburned carbon, characterized in that (a) as means for heating the raw fly ash powder, use is made of a heating unit that heats the raw fly ash powder by passing it through a heated medium-fluidized bed, (b) a high-temperature gas stream is passed through the heating unit to form the heated medium-fluidized bed and to fluidize and convey the raw fly ash powder that is thrown into the medium-fluidized bed, (c) the flow rate of the high-temperature gas stream is so set that the raw fly ash powder thrown into the heating unit is all heated in the medium-fluidized bed and is taken out from a take-out port provided at an upper part of the heating unit but that the particulate medium forming the medium-fluidized bed is not discharged from the take-out port, (d) the fly ash powder after heated and discharged from the take-out port of the heating unit is introduced into an air classifier where it is separated into a fine powder and a coarse powder, (e) the fine powder separated by the air classifier is recovered as the reformed fly ash, and (f) the coarse powder separated by the air classifier is measured for its content of the unburned carbon and when the measured value is larger than a predetermined threshold value, the coarse powder is introduced again into the heating unit so as to be heated again and when the measured value is smaller than the threshold value, the powder is recovered as the reformed fly ash.

摘要： A method for treating and utilizing bypass dusts from a cement production process involves a) contacting the bypass dust with an aqueous phase and mixing the same to obtain a suspension, wherein water-soluble components of the bypass dust are dissolved in the aqueous phase; b) performing a solid/liquid separation, in particular a vacuum filtration or a filter press filtration, to separate the solids contained in the suspension, wherein a brine remains; c) precipitating a partial amount of the heavy metals present in the brine, and optionally Ca, and separating the precipitate from the brine; and d) subjecting the brine to an electrocoagulation, wherein a flocculate containing the heavy metals remaining in the brine is separated.

In the invention, a baffle wall 20 which protrudes, on a lower face 16a of an exhaust duct 16 of a calciner connected to the pipe inclination part 14 of an exhaust gas pipe 9 rising from a kiln inlet part 2 of a cement kiln 1, toward a pipe inclination part 14 side at an inclination angle α within a range of 20 to 60° relative to the horizontal plane, and a spacing between a lower end edge 20a of the baffle wall and an opposite wall plane 14a of the pipe inclination part is configured such that an average flow rate of the exhaust gas between the both falls within a range of 15 to 35 m/s.

摘要： A method for cleaning bypass gases of the cement or mineral industry includes cooling down a removed bypass gas from a cement or mineral processing plant to a temperature of between 500° C. and 150° C., and coarsely dedusting the bypass gas, the dust burden being reduced by 30 to 95%. After the dedusting step, the gaseous constituents contained in the partly dedusted bypass gas are reduced in a reducing step. The partly dedusted bypass gas is further finely dedusted. The gaseous constituents reducing step includes at least a catalytic reduction of one or more of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide.
