摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing styrene monomers by the depolymerisation of polystyrene in the presence of foreign polymers, such as polyolefins. 摘要： Methods for processing LLDPE recyclates including, but not limited to, polyethylene and polypropylene and compositions therefrom are provided. LLDPE recyclate can be visbroken to improve processing characteristics and/or devolatilized to remove waste byproducts to produce processed LLDPE recyclates. Processed LLDPE recyclates are compounded with pre-consumer polyolefins to produce blend compositions having acceptable or even improved processing characteristics. Such pre-consumer polyolefins can also be visbroken to further tailor processing characteristics of such polymer blends. A combination of extruders and/or extruder zones can be used at the same or different locations for visbreaking and/or compounding of both LLDPE recyclate and/or pre-consumer polyolefins.

摘要： An improved method forms and employs a wax to modify asphalt. The method includes: (a) selecting a solid polymeric material, (b) heating the solid polymeric material in an extruder to produce a molten polymeric material, (c) filtering the molten polymeric material, (d) placing the molten polymeric material through a chemical depolymerization process in a reactor to produce a depolymerized polymeric material, and (e) adding the depolymerized material to a pre-wax mixture to produce a polymer-modified asphalt. The addition of wax reduced the mixing time necessary to achieve improved polymer dispersion compared to the control formulation modified bitumen and reduced the viscosity of the neat bitumen. Pre-polymer addition of wax is detrimental to most properties of the resulting modified asphalt. Post-polymer addition improved viscosity reduction, higher softening point and improved dimensional stability.

摘要： Embodiments relate to a process for regenerating a polyester container and a polyester film to be used therein, which not only solve the environmental problems by improving the recyclability of polyester containers, but also are capable of enhancing the quality, yield, and productivity. The process for regenerating a polyester container comprises providing the polyester container and a heat-shrunken polyester film that wraps at least part of the polyester container; crushing the polyester container and the heat-shrunken film to obtain flakes; and thermally treating the flakes to produce regenerated polyester chips, wherein when the flakes are thermally treated at a temperature of 200° C. to 220° C. for 60 minutes to 120 minutes, the clumping fraction is 9% or less, the flakes comprise first flakes obtained by crushing the container and second flakes obtained by crushing the heat-shrunken polyester film, the heat-shrunken polyester film comprises a copolymerized polyester resin comprising a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component, and the amount of change in Col-a (Δa) before and after the heat-shrunken polyester film is dried at 210° C. for 90 minutes is 1.50 or less, or the amount of change in Col-b (Δb) before and after the film is dried at 210° C. for 90 minutes is 1.50 or less.
