    • The present invention relates to a stabilizer composition for organic polymer material containing (a) 6-hydroxychroman compound, a phosphorus antioxidant and (c) phenolic antioxidant, wherein the component (a) is contained in a proportion of 0.5 wt %-10 wt % and the total amount of the component (b) and the component (c) is in a proportion of 99.5 wt %-90 wt %, of the total amount of the components (a), (b) and (c). The present invention also relates to an organic polymer material composition containing an organic polymer and the above-mentioned stabilizer composition for organic polymer material. The use of the stabilizer composition of the present invention as a stabilizer for organic polymer materials affords an industrially extremely useful stabilized organic polymer material composition superior in heat stability during processing.

    • The present invention relates to a process for coloration of a high molecular weight material by admixing said high molecular weight organic or inorganic material, preferably high molecular weight organic material, prior to processing with at least one compound of the formula: where A1 and A2 are independently unsubstituted, monosubstituted, disubstituted, trisubstituted or tetrasubstituted o-C6-C18arylene.     • A resin composition comprising polystyrene having the syndiotactic configuration (SPS) showing improved heat stability in heat molding at a high temperature is obtained by adding a combination of a phenolic antioxidant and an antioxidant containing phosphorus to SPS. The molded article is obtained by using the resin composition as the material. Additional use of an antioxidant containing sulfur gives more excellent improvement. The composition may further contain another thermoplastic resin and/or rubber elastomer, a polymer exhibiting compatibility with or affinity for SPS and having a polar group, and/or an inorganic filler in accordance with necessity.
