摘要： Compositions comprising a neutral surfactant or a reaction product thereof and a reaction product of a saccharide polymer and a fatty acid may be obtained in the presence of water and a hydroxide base (optionally in the presence of the neutral surfactant), the saccharide polymer comprising a dextran, a dextrin compound, or any combination thereof. The reaction product of the saccharide polymer and the fatty acid may be present at a concentration effective to lower surface tension of the neutral surfactant. Depending on the fatty acid identity, among other factors, the compositions may promote emulsification or de-emulsification. In addition, the compositions may promote foam formation under appropriate conditions. Treatment fluids comprising the compositions, including foamed treatment fluids, may be introduced into a subterranean formation to perform a treatment operation in which fluid emulsification or de-emulsification may occur. The reaction products may be incorporated in soaps and other personal care products.

In certain embodiments a surfactant system is disclosed which includes an extended anionic surfactant with novel co-surfactants including one or more of an alkyl glycerol ether, an ethoxylated alkyl glycerol ether, an alcohol ethoxylate and/or a gemini surfactant. This system forms emulsions with, and can remove greasy and oily stains, even those comprised of non-trans fats. 摘要： A composition is provided containing a pH adjuster, a surfactant, and a solvent, wherein the composition has the ability to solubilize MAAs that creates dark streaks on roof shingles. The method of making the composition involves mixing a pH adjuster and a surfactant with water. A method of using is provided in which additional water is added to the composition. Once the composition is diluted and the desired alkalinity is reached, the composition is sprayed on a roof through a device having a spray/stream end. The output from the spray/stream end of the device transforms secreted MAA present on the roof shingles into an orange color upon contact. The resulting orange residue is then rinsed off from the shingles to provide a new looking roof.

摘要： The invention is a detergent solution for cleaning a receptacle for milk or liquid milk-derived products, the detergent solution comprising water, one or more types of surfactant and an odour absorbing compound. The surfactants are provided to dissolve greasy milk-based residues from the receptacle and the odour absorbing compound is provided to neutralise odours produced by any remaining milk-based residues not removed by the surfactants. The detergent solution is water-based so that it can be rinsed off easily in a sink in the home. The detergent solution is particularly suited to plastic receptacles because plastic is more prone to accumulating mal-odour producing bacteria. This is because a plastic surface is more porous than glass so it is more difficult to remove greasy residues from a plastic surface and therefore grease can build up in the pores, out of the reach of surfactants, and provide a place for odour-producing bacteria to grow. An odour absorbing compound does not remove the residue but can neutralise the odours from the residue. The invention also discloses a method for dispensing a detergent solution comprising at least one surfactant, the method comprising ejecting detergent solution from a reservoir in the form of a spray, wherein the surfactant is present in the detergent solution in an amount of from 3% to 15% by weight of the detergent solution. The invention discloses also a method of cleaning a receptacle for milk, or liquid milk-derived products, the method comprising: spraying a detergent solution comprising at least one surfactant onto the receptacle, wherein the surfactant is present in the detergent solution in an amount of from 3% to 15% by weight of the detergent solution.
