摘要： Disclosed is a method for smelting low nitrogen steel by using an electric furnace. The smelting is performed using a dual-shell electric furnace, The dual-shell electric furnace has two furnace shells. An arc power system of the dual-shell electric furnace is used for alternatively electric heating on the two furnace shells, wherein when one of the two furnace shells is subjected to electric heating, feeding, sealing of a molten pool and blowing of a combustion medium and oxygen are sequentially carried out in the other furnace shell to start smelting. When the temperature of molten steel in the furnace shell subjected to electric heating reaches a target temperature, electric heating starts to be carried out on the other furnace shell. The method for efficiently smelting the low nitrogen steel by using the electric furnace of the disclosure, not only can shorten the smelting period and improve the throughput of a production line of an electric furnace, but also smelt low nitrogen steel to satisfy the requirements of the market on high-end steel. in addition, the method for efficiently smelting the low nitrogen steel by using the electric furnace of the disclosure can reduce the discharge of dust and smoke, thereby protecting the environment.

摘要： Disclosed is a slag discharging method in a process of producing ultra-low phosphorus steel, which relates to the technical field of iron and steel smelting, and in which molten steel is mixed with lime first to produce basic slag; then converting is performed with oxygen to increase the oxidizability of the basic slag; and a carbon-containing reducing agent is finally added, so that in the process that the carbon is oxidized to release a large amount of carbon monoxide gas, phosphates are captured, and the basic slag is rapidly foamed and overflows from the opening of the steel ladle, so that conditions are no longer available for rephosphorization. The slag discharging method is simple and convenient to operate, does not have high requirements on the equipment, has relatively good dephosphorization effect, and can be used to prepare an ultra-low phosphorus steel containing less than 0.003% phosphorus. Also disclosed is a method for producing ultra-low phosphorus steel, which comprises the above-described slag discharging method in a process of producing ultra-low phosphorus steel, and refining and ingotting after slag discharge. The production method has good dephosphorization effect, has a low production cost, and can high-efficiently produce an ultra-low phosphorus steel containing less than 0.003% phosphorus.

摘要： A multiple chamber material-stirring lance and method used to treat molten metal in a ladle, the lance having a stirring gas chamber, and a plurality of gas permeable ports arranged at a terminal end of the gas chamber, and at least one material chamber positioned parallel to the gas chamber and terminating in a plurality of material ports. In use, the multiple chamber material-stirring lance is lowered into the ladle of molten metal, and gas and material are both introduced into a respective chamber and emitted through their respective ports. Stirring gas emitted through the gas permeable ports under a gas pressure between 40 and 600 cfm causes the stirring gas to create a boiling effect in the molten metal, drawing material into the stirring gas bubbles and away from the lance body, improving material dispersion efficiency and thus impurity extraction from the molten metal.
