摘要： A plant and method for making continuous yarns made of silicone material comprises at least an extrusion station, into which the material is introduced in an amorphous condition, and extrusion means which cause the material to exit from the extrusion station along an extrusion axis. The plant also comprises a vulcanization station, located downstream of the extrusion station, at a determinate distance therefrom, in which the continuous yarn is vulcanized in a direction of treatment. The plant also comprises a drawing unit, disposed downstream of the vulcanization station.

摘要： An apparatus for making spunbond from continuous thermoplastic filaments has a spinneret for spinning the continuous filaments and advancing them in a filament-travel direction, a cooler for cooling the filaments, a stretcher for stretching the filaments, a depositing device including a foraminous belt extending in a machine direction transverse to the filament-travel direction for deposition of the filaments as a nonwoven web and conveyance away from the stretcher, a diffusor between the stretcher and the foraminous belt so that filaments and primary air from the stretcher enter into the diffusor, and a suction device for extracting air through the foraminous belt at an extraction region underneath the diffusor outlet and having a width b in a machine direction that is greater than a width B of the diffusor outlet. The diffusor forms upstream and downstream secondary air-inlet gaps at opposite ends through which secondary air is aspirated into the diffusor.

摘要： A method of making a spun-bond nonwoven fabric of thermoplastic filaments has the steps of first spinning the thermoplastic filaments, then cooling the spun filaments, and then conducting the cooled and spun filaments in a travel direction through a stretcher with primary air such that the primary air exits a downstream end of the stretcher with the filaments at a predetermined primary air volume/flow VP. The filaments and substantially all of the primary air are passed together as a flow from the downstream end of the stretcher into a diffuser. Secondary air is introduced into the flow at a secondary air volume/flow VS such that a ratio VP/VS of the primary rate VP to the secondary rate is equal to at least 4.5 and the primary and secondary air flow with the filaments in the travel direction through the diffuser.

摘要： A spunbond web is made by extruding a multiplicity of hot thermoplastic filaments, passing the filaments along an upstream stretch of a path, cooling and stretching the filaments as they move along the upstream stretch of the path, and depositing the cooled and stretched filaments at a downstream end of the upstream stretch on a foraminous belt such that the filaments form a mat thereon. The belt is continuously displaced the belt so as to move the mat downstream along a downstream leg of the path. The mat on the belt, then consolidated with a high-pressure water-jet treatment, and further processed.

Cool process air is supplied to the chamber to cool the filaments as they pass downward through the chamber. A laterally closed stretching unit downstream of the cooling chamber has laterally closed side walls that have portions that diverges downward. A connecting region between the stretching unit and the cooling chamber substantially excludes access of air from outside to the filaments as they pass from the cooling chamber to the stretching unit so that the filaments drop from the stretching unit onto the deposition surface.

摘要： A method includes the steps of co-extruding a first component and a second component. The first component has a recovery percentage R1 and the second component has a recovery percentage R2, wherein R1 is higher than R2. The first and second components are directed through a spin pack to form a plurality of continuous, molten fibers. The molten fibers are then muted through a quenching chamber to form a plurality of continuous cooled fibers. The coiled fibers are then routed through a drawing unit to form a plurality of continuous, solid linear fibers. Each of the solid fibers is then stretched by at least 50 percent before it is allowed to relax. The relaxation step forms the linear fibers into a plurality of continuous 3-dimensional fibers each having a coiled configuration over at least a portion of its length. The continuous 3-dimensional, coiled fibers are then deposited onto a moving support to form a web.
