摘要： Braided material with multiple braided components formed of continuous tows and connected by one or more intersections are described. Each of the multiple braided components is formed by sets of tows. Each set of tows includes a respective plurality of tows, which are substantially adjacent and parallel to each other at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the braided material. Each set of tows is further composed of multiple subsets of tows. The subsets of tows separate at the intersections and combine with different subsets of tows in adjacent components of the multiple braided components.

摘要： It is aimed to provide a technology for reducing the loosening of strands in a short-cut braided conductor. A short braided conductor 1 is obtained by cutting a long braided conductor 10 configured by braiding a plurality of strands 11 into a tubular shape to a desired cutting length (L1). The strands 11 are, for example, configured by conductors such as bare soft copper wires, oxygen-free soft copper wires or tin-plated soft copper wires. A spiral pitch (P1) of the strands 11 in this braided conductor 1 is preferably not less than twice and not more than five times of the cutting length (L1), more preferably not less than twice and not more than three times the cutting length (L1).

摘要： A manufacture method of a three dimensional (3D) braided composite tube with a throat section includes: providing an assembled mandrel comprising an upper mandrel and a lower mandrel, and braiding an 3D braided inner layer on the upper mandrel; winding fiber yarns to form a fiber yarn layer over the 3D braided inner layer; tightening the 3D braided inner layer to the assembled mandrel by an appropriate tension force when winding; and infiltrating resin and increasing temperature to cure the resin for obtaining a composite tube with a narrower throat section. The present invention takes advantage of winding fiber yarn outer layer to keep the radius of the throat of the 3D braided inner layer to meet design requirement. Additionally, the hoop strength of the throat section is increased so that the metal shell can be made thinner to reduce the weight of the rocket nozzle.

The toothed cable includes the core cable, a wire disposed spirally around the core cable at a fixed pitch, and the braid having a core thread and piles fixed to the core thread, the braid being disposed spirally along a groove having side walls and a bottom formed by the wire and the core cable. The toothed cable is obtained by a manufacturing method of disposing a meltable filament thread in the groove, disposing the braid in the groove with tension after the filament thread is disposed, melting the filament thread after the braid is disposed, and joining the braid to the core cable by solidifying the melted filament thread.

摘要： An open frame prosthesis is formed with looped end terminations at its proximal and distal ends. At one end of the prosthesis, the filaments or strands are welded together in pairs to form strand couplings. A plurality of loop segments are connected to the strand couplings, one loop segment for each pair of adjacent strand couplings. In one version of the prosthesis, strands at the opposite end are bent to form looped ends. In another version, loop segments are connected to pairs of strand couplings at both ends of the prosthesis. The loop segments can be connected to the couplings by welding, fusion bonds, or tubes, which are either crimped or heat shrunk.
