摘要： Described is a method and apparatus for constructing light-weight, modular structures using special openC beams as a top and a bottom frame. Each openC beam comprises a vertical web member, a horizontal top flange extending perpendicularly in a first direction from the vertical web member, a horizontal bottom flange extending perpendicularly in the first direction and substantially parallel with the horizontal top flange and a upper vertical tab extending substantially perpendicularly from a distal edge of the horizontal top flange away from the horizontal bottom flange. Vertical posts are installed in one or more cutouts in the horizontal top flange of each openC beam and a planar surface of each of the vertical posts rests against the horizontal top flange for added support.

First and second joists each include a deck support wall and a lower wall. 摘要： The present invention relates to using interlocking spacer braces between support members to construct wood and metal framed walls, floors and building trusses. Spacer braces have indentations, extensions, with hook fingers, hook tongues and hook receivers along with U & W shaped clips that interlock horizontally, vertically or diagonally between support members. The spacer braces can form diagonal and lateral wall bracing, diagonal and vertical chords within building truss with either horizontally or vertical orientations, headers above doors and windows and shear walls. The spacer braces can be installed individually or in tandem between wood or metal framing.

摘要： A structural member with a central portion that has a first piece and a second piece which form a cross-sectional L-shape configuration along a longitudinal axis is disclosed herein. When fastened to a horizontal bar, the first piece of the structural member may come into contact with a portion of the horizontal bar, thereby preventing the structural member from rotating. The structural member includes a connection component that extends from an end of the first piece, and the connection component extends substantially perpendicular to the first piece. The connection component may be configured in at least two different embodiments in that the connection component may include two holes or three holes. The implementation of more than one hole on the connection component allows the structural member to be universal in that it can be implemented on varying sized storage racks that employ different sized horizontal bars.
