摘要： A stabilizer for barbed wire fences and its method of use are presented. The stabilizer is a single unitary piece of molded plastic having an aperture and a deflectable locking tab allowing for access to the aperture. Such apertures and deflectable locking tabs are uniformly spaced along the length of the stabilizer and are adapted to receive the spaced-apart barbed wire of a fencing system. The deflectable locking tab accommodates both ease of application and release of the stabilizer with respect to the barbed wire.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device for installing a fence. In most embodiments the device comprises three main areas: the driver area, the installer area, and the storage area. The driver area is where the driver of the device is located and comprises the necessary components to drive the device, such as a motor and steering mechanism. The installer area is where the fence installer is located, and in most embodiments is placed above the driver area so that the installer can access the top rail of the fence during installation. The storage area is where the fencing material is placed, often times as a roll. This roll is fed out of the storage area and installed by the installer while the device is driven down the length of the fence. This device beneficially decreases the amount of time and man-power required to install a fence.

In at least on example the fence panel includes: a first set of substantially parallel wires, each wire having a first and a second end; a second set of substantially parallel wires, the second set of wires being welded across the first set on one picket-wire side of the first set; a cross-wire-side connection strip welded across the first end of the first set on the picket-wire side of the first set; and an opposite side connection strip welded across the second end of the first set on the opposite side of the picket-wire side. In one such example each connection strip has an outside edge and each outside edge is equally spaced from the end of the wires to which the strip is welded.

摘要： A safety barrier is formed of framing, including a guard rail that defines the infill below the rail without the use of pickets. The infill is covered with mesh screen, which may be made of nylon which has greater tensile strength than conventional fiberglass. The mesh screen is held to the framing by an extruded base. The base has a central channel between two flat spline grooves. Flat splines hold mesh screen in their respective grooves more securely than conventional friction-based channel splines. A metal plate is positioned in the central channel to enables screws that secure the base to be tightened to hold it to the framing better. The elimination of pickets in the infill leaves the view unobstructed and allows other treatments of that portion of a deck or porch that are more aesthetically pleasing without compromising safety.
