摘要： In a fuel control system (10) for a gas turbine engine (1) having a gas generator (4) and a turbine (6) driven by the gas generator (4): a main fuel regulator (12) determines a demand (Wfdem) of fuel flow (Wf) to be introduced in the gas turbine engine (1), based on an input request (PLA); and a first limiter stage (14), operatively coupled to the main fuel regulator (12), causes an adjustment of the fuel flow (Wf) based on engine safety operating limits. The first limiter stage (14) is provided with a Ngdot limiter (20) to cause an adjustment of the fuel flow (Wf) when the gas generator speed rate of change (Ngdot) is determined to overcome acceleration/deceleration scheduled safety limits; the Ngdot limiter (20) implements a predictor (23), to perform a prediction (Wfdot) of the fuel flow rate of change (Wfdot), or fuel flow (Wf), allowing the gas generator speed rate of change (Ngdot) to track a scheduled reference value (Ngdotref).

摘要： An aero-engine low pressure pump is provided for supplying fuel at a raised pressure to a high pressure pump. The low pressure pump has a pumping mechanism which raises the pressure of fuel flowing though the mechanism. The low pressure pump further has electrical motor which drives the pumping mechanism. The low pressure pump further has a variable frequency motor drive which supplies electrical power to the electrical motor. The variable frequency motor drive measures the electrical power supplied to the electrical motor. The low pressure pump further has a control unit which compares the measured electrical power to a reference power, and, when the measured electrical power is less than the reference power by a predetermined amount, controls the motor drive to increase the power supplied to the electrical motor thereby increasing the pressure rise produced by the pumping mechanism.

摘要： A fuel flow system for a gas turbine engine includes a first pump, a second pump, a bypass loop, an integrating bypass valve and a pilot valve. The first pump connects to an actuator and a metering valve. The second pump connects to the metering valve and is arranged in parallel with the first pump. The bypass loop recycles fuel flow from the first pump and the second pump to inlets of the first pump and second pump integrating bypass valve includes first and second windows. The first window regulates fuel from the first pump through the bypass loop and the second window that regulates fuel from the second pump through the bypass loop. The pilot valve controls the size of the first and second windows.
