摘要： A sealing apparatus includes: an annular reinforcement ring around an axis; and an annular elastic body part around the axis, which is attached to the reinforcement ring and is formed of an elastic body. The elastic body part has: a side lip, an intermediate lip, and a grease lip. A grease as a lubricant is applied to respective inner peripheral side surfaces of the side lip, the intermediate lip, and the grease lip. A thickener of the grease includes no urea-based thickener. In a usage state of the sealing apparatus, a cross sectional area of an inter-lip space enclosed by the side lip, the intermediate lip, and a hub ring is equal to or greater than 3.5 mm2.

摘要： A seal for use between a first and second telescopically configured bicycle member, comprises a substantially cylindrical body having a first ring portion and a second ring portion. The first ring portion has a diameter that is different than a diameter of the second ring portion. The top ring portion is coupled to a first telescopic member and the bottom ring portion is coupled to a second telescopic member. The body has an opening defined therethrough from a top surface of the first ring portion to a bottom surface of the second ring portion. The opening receives the first telescopic member therethrough. An injector port is coupled to the body and has a first port opening and a second port opening. A port channel is in communication with the first and second port openings. The second port opening is in communication with a pocket configured to hold a fluid therein, the injector port configured to receive the lubricant in a first flow direction from the first port opening to the second port opening, wherein the pocket houses the lubricant therein to maintain communication between the lubricant and the first and second telescopic members.

The gasket may have an inner wiper encircled by an outer wiper, with both wipers disposed in circumferentially sealed engagement with the mounting portion or the first gimbal.

摘要： The present invention relates to a flywheel apparatus for energy storage and recovery including a housing within which there is a chamber in which a flywheel on a shaft rotates. The chamber is evacuated to at or near vacuum pressure, so that air resistance-related energy losses of the flywheel as it rotates are reduced. Maintaining near-vacuum pressure within the chamber requires an effective seal between the housing and the shaft. The effective seal must be maintained despite any relative movement (in particular translational movement) of the flywheel and the housing. To this end, the shaft is mounted via a bearing arrangement on a carrier on which is also mounted a sealing arrangement. The carrier is mounted on the housing such that the carrier, the bearing arrangement and the sealing arrangement move substantially together relative to the housing.

摘要： A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member, an inner member, double row rolling elements, and seals. At least one seal of the seals has a metal core press-formed from steel sheet with a cylindrical fitting portion. A radial portion extends radially inward from the end of the fitting portion. A sealing member with a plurality of sealing lips is integrally adhered to the fitting portion of the metal core. Bearing grease is contained within the bearing. Sealing grease is applied to the sealing lips. Both the bearing grease and the sealing grease use the same thickener and the worked penetration of 350 or less. The kinematic viscosity of the base oil of the sealing grease at 40° C. is set to 70% or less of the kinematic viscosity of the base oil of the bearing grease at 40° C.
