摘要： A fuel demand valve that opens with minimal engine suction pressure. The fuel demand valve has an inlet housing and an outlet housing with a valve door in the outlet housing that moves to allow flow through the valve when exposed to a pressure difference sufficient to overcome a spring internal to the outlet housing. The inlet housing includes a shelf, and two gaskets, one large and one small, are disposed between the shelf and the valve door such that they define different surface areas on the valve door. The different surface areas define the amount of force required to be exerted on the valve door for fuel to flow when exposed to fuel supply and engine suction pressures. The different surface areas provide a mechanical advantage whereby lower suction pressure from the engine exerts the same force as a higher fuel supply pressure on the valve door enabling lower fuel pressure operation.

The compensation element comprises a compensation body (26) made of an elastically deformable and/or compressible material, the moulded plastic material of the first body part (2) being stiffer than the elastically deformable and/or compressible material. The first body part (2) defines a tubular portion (23) that extends between the valve seat (7) and one of the inlet (6a) and the outlet (6b), within the chamber for passage of the fluid (6). The compensation body (26) is mounted within the chamber for passage of the fluid (6) so as to surround the tubular portion (23) at least partially.

摘要： A check valve includes a housing defining an inlet, an outlet, a passage between the inlet and outlet, and a sealing surface along the passage. A piston member is disposed about a longitudinal axis and has a sealing face disposed perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and a circular groove defined therein extending inward from the sealing face. An O-ring is disposed in the groove. A biasing member exerts a biasing force on the piston and thus forces the O-ring into sealing engagement with the sealing surface of the housing. The piston member is moveable from a first position in which the O-ring is sealingly engaged with the sealing surface of the housing and thus the outlet is sealed from the inlet, and a second position in which the O-ring is spaced from the sealing surface of the housing and thus the outlet is not sealed from the inlet.

摘要： A coolant flow control valve (CFCV) which includes an actuator having a microcontroller which drives an electric motor, such as a brushless DC motor. The motor drives a gear train, and the gear train drives a valve. The motor and gear train are used to rotate the valve to one or more positions, and thus direct coolant (passing through the valve) between ports. The valve is rotated to different positions to create various flow paths, such that coolant is directed between the different flow paths. The valve is a rotor having three different channels. The CFCV may also include a compound valve, where two valves are connected to and driven by one actuator. The valves may be of different shapes to accommodate inlet and outlet ports of various configurations.
