摘要： An integrated sensor assembly provides multiple sensing modalities to monitor an agricultural environment, and may be employed in or used with controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems to control and maintain improved growth conditions for various plants. In one exemplary implementation, an integrated sensor assembly includes sensors to monitor parameters important to plant growth, such as a natural light sensor, an air temperature sensor, a relative humidity sensor, an air flow sensor, a carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor, and a remote infrared (IR) temperature sensor. The sensors are mounted onto a single circuit board, which is then placed inside a housing for protection from the ambient environment. The housing can include one or more openings and apertures to facilitate sensing with protective covers where appropriate. A USB port can be included to supply electrical power and transfer of data to and from the integrated sensor assembly (e.g., to provide plug-and-play functionality).

摘要： Apparatus and methods are disclosed which may keep retractable landscape lamps substantially free from water intrusion in operation for a variety of embodiments. Retractable lamps may have a lower fixed portion which could be buried in the ground and an upper portion which may rise and illuminate. When the upper portion rises it may create a low pressure or vacuum inside. Water may be pulled into the lamp which may lead to failure. The lamp may benefit from a seal between the lower and upper portions. A seal may consist of a flexible rubber material and a grease or other lubricant which may form a watertight seal with low friction. The upper portion may have a cap with provisions for aspiration. While traveling between the retracted and extended positions the lamp may aspirate through the bottom of this cap. The cap may be designed to trap an air reservoir when it retracts. It may then provide air for aspiration the next time the lamp rises to permit such a rise such as above wet conditions or above standing water. The cap may have a protective vent which may allow air to pass while restricting water from passing.

摘要： An LED light fixture that replaces a par 36 lamp includes a body casting having an LED mounting area with an outer perimeter surrounded by an outer ring, and a shroud covering a portion of the outer perimeter of the LED mounting area. The pins may be affixed for ground mounting and removed for disposing the light fixture in a well housing disposed in the ground. An LED circuit board containing one or more LEDs overlies the LED mounting area.

摘要： A system for supporting light emitting diodes (LEDs) for providing light to promote plant growth is disclosed. The system provides a tube or cylinder with various facets that provide support surfaces for strips of LEDs. The tubular shape promotes the creation of a flow of air along the tube or cylinder to enhance heat transfer though convection. The system also allows positioning of the lights along the length of plants, and thus avoiding issues associates with providing light to just the highest leaves of the plant.
