摘要： For controlling energy transfer (Q) of a thermal energy exchanger of an HVAC system, a control system determines flow-dependent model parameters (M) for modelling performance of the thermal energy exchanger, using a plurality of measurement data sets, each measurement data set including for a respective measurement time a value of a measured flow of fluid (Φact), a value of a measured supply temperature (Tsup) of the fluid, and a value of the measured return temperature (Tret) of the fluid. The control system calculates an estimated energy transfer (Qest) of the thermal energy exchanger, using the flow-dependent model parameters (M), and controls (S4) the energy transfer (Q) of the thermal energy exchanger by regulating (S5) the flow of fluid (Φ) through the thermal energy exchanger, using the estimated energy transfer (Qest).

摘要： An air conditioning assembly for an environmental chamber includes an air handling unit for supplying air to the environmental chamber. A plurality of ducts in fluid communication with the air handing unit and in fluid communication with the environmental chamber are configured to draw air from one side of the environmental chamber through at least one outlet vent, and to blow air into an opposite side of the environmental chamber through at least one equal but opposite inlet vent. At least one air conditioning means in fluid communication with the at least one air handling unit is configured to condition the air flow passing through the air handling unit. The at least one air conditioning means includes an altitude simulator for changing the oxygen content of the air flow. In use, the air conditioning assembly is configured to create substantially laminar air flow throughout the environmental chamber.

The method for position determination includes: acquiring return air temperature information of each indoor unit; determining a first correlation coefficient between every two indoor units based on the return air temperature information; classifying indoor units based on the first correlation coefficient to obtain a number of classified groups; and generating relative position information in each classified group based on the first correlation coefficient by taking any one of the indoor units as a locating point. Maintenance personnel are not required to manually maintain a relative position relation of indoor units. Therefore, the maintenance difficulty of the relative position relation of indoor units is reduced, and a time cost and a labor cost required for maintenance are reduced accordingly.

摘要： Techniques for performing an emissions demand response (EDR) event are described. In an example, a cloud-based HVAC control system may obtain a first emissions rate forecast and generate an EDR event with a start time and end time based on the first emissions rate forecast. The EDR event may then be transmitted to a thermostat and stored in a memory of the thermostat. At the start time, the thermostat may commence controlling an HVAC system according to the EDR event. After the start time and prior to the end time, the cloud-based HVAC control system may obtain a second emissions rate forecast and generate a modified EDR event with a modified end time. The modified EDR event may be transmitted to the thermostat before the end time and/or the modified end time whereupon the thermostat may control the HVAC system accordingly until the modified end time is reached.
