The method also includes determining whether the reference SST is below a minimum SST threshold. The method also includes, responsive to a determination that the reference SST is below the minimum SST threshold, determining a decreased compressor speed. The method also includes modulating a variable-speed. compressor in the HVAC system in correspondence to the decreased compressor speed.

The anti-freeze additive is characterized by a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) such that when an operating temperature of the reservoir is greater than the LCST, the reservoir is configured to supply a cooling fluid including the refrigerant to the circulation loop; and when the operating temperature of the reservoir is lower than the LCST, the reservoir is configured to supply a cooling fluid including the refrigerant and the anti-freeze additive to the circulation loop.

摘要： An apparatus includes a flash tank, a medium temperature load, a low temperature load, a first compressor, a second compressor, and an ejector. The flash tank stores a refrigerant. The ejector directs a mixture of the refrigerant from the first compressor and the refrigerant from the second compressor to the low temperature load during a defrost cycle. 摘要： A refrigeration apparatus includes a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger operable as a refrigerant evaporator or radiator, and a usage-side heat exchanger operable as a refrigerant evaporator or radiator. The heat-source-side heat exchanger is disposed inside a heat source unit having an exhaust port and an outdoor fan in an upper part, and an intake port in a side part. The heat-source-side heat exchanger includes first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers. Adjustable first and second heat-source-side flow rate adjusting valves are connected to liquid sides of the first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers, respectively. In a defrost operation in order to defrost the first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers, the opening degrees of the first and second heat-source-side flow rate adjusting valves are controlled so as to achieve a defrost flow rate ratio at which more refrigerant flows to the second heat-source-side heat exchanger than during an air-cooling operation.
