摘要： A modular handle system for a firearm is disclosed. The modular handle system is comprised of several components that are interchangeable. The separate components utilize a connector and a sleeve combination to removably attach components together. The handle system may use fixed handles, pivot handles using a pivot sphere for maneuverability, tripods, or any other firearm component. The separate components may be removed and attached as desired by the user. The sleeves have internal protrusions which fix the connector in place when the connector is inserted into a cavity in the sleeve.

摘要： A support pod that supports a weapon in a firing position includes a support tube telescopingly joined with a leg having a longitudinal axis. A lock portion defines grooves downwardly angled relative to the longitudinal axis. A guide portion defines recesses downwardly angled relative to the axis. The recesses can be distal and separate from the grooves, and both optionally are downwardly spiraling. The leg is operable in a locked mode, in which a lock element is in a groove, and a guide element is in a corresponding recess, to set a first overall length of the support. The leg can operate in an adjustment mode in which the lock and guide element can transition out from the groove and recess, and can move to other respective grooves and recesses chosen by a user to set the pod at another overall length. A related method of use is provided.

摘要： The preferred embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus structured and arranged to securely clamp an object to a support structure. The most preferred embodiments of the present invention comprise a clamping apparatus configured to secure a long rifle or other firearm to a tripod, using a standard camera mounting bracket. In this embodiment, the clamping apparatus comprises a base with a pair of substantially L-shaped interlocking brackets and a pair of spring-loaded cam locking mechanisms used to fix the L-shaped brackets in position. Additional preferred embodiments of the present invention comprise rubber pads or other protective material affixed to the surface of the clamping apparatus to minimize damage to the object being clamped. A method of using the clamping apparatus is also disclosed.
