摘要： Disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for simulation of firearm discharge and training of armed forces and/or law enforcement personnel. A motion tracking system tracks motion of one or more users. In embodiments, the users wear one or more sensors on their bodies to allow tracking by the motion tracking system. A scenario management system utilizes position, orientation, and motion information provided by the motion tracking system to evaluate user performance during a scenario. A weapon simulator includes sensors that indicate position of the weapon and/or orientation of the weapon. The weapon simulator may further provide trigger activation indications to the scenario management system. In embodiments, the scenario management system generates, plays, reviews, and/or evaluates simulations. The evaluation can include scoring based on reaction times, posture, body position, body orientation, and/or other attributes.

摘要： Pneumatic simulator for an open bolt firearm including an actuator group having a stationary piston and a moving bolt. With each simulated firing cycle producing a firing event, the spring actuates moving bolt toward stationary piston such that the activator unseats a valve located in the stationary piston. Unseating the valve allows regulated compressed gas to exit a high pressure reservoir located in the firearm magazine well which drives the moving bolt back against the spring to complete a firing cycle. Subsequent firing cycles will continue automatically as long as the shooter keeps the trigger depressed. A tension rod, and laser also may comprise the simulator assembly. A nut may be used to secure the tension rod and laser. A laser cable may be used to electrically connect laser to a firing event signal generator. The firing event signal generator may include a magnet located in the moving bolt and a pickup positioned in the stationary piston. With each firing event, the magnet is moved adjacent the pickup which evidences a firing event which generates a signal from the pickup to the laser over the laser cable. The laser then generates a pulse of light which strikes a target to mark a point of impact resulting from the firing event.

摘要： A firearm training system includes a firearm, a sensor, a data processor, and a display. The sensor measures and records the motion of the firearm before, during, and after the firearm is shot. In some embodiments, the sensor is located on the firearm. The sensor communicates with the data processor. In some instances this communication is conducted wirelessly. Data regarding the movement of the firearm is analyzed via the data processor and trends are determined. These trends are then correlated with shooting technique deficiencies which can be communicated to a user via the display. In some embodiments, the data processor and display are a single computing device, such as a tablet, smartphone, or laptop.
