A string carrier slides along the center rail during movement with the draw string in the released configuration to a retracted position that locates the draw string in the drawn configuration. A trigger is positioned to move the catch from the closed position and the open position to fire the crossbow when the string carrier is in the retracted position. At least one cocking rope is configured to engage with the string carrier to retract the string carrier and the draw string to the drawn configuration. A retaining mechanism retains the string carrier in the retracted position and the draw string in the drawn configuration independent of the cocking ropes.

摘要： A quiver assembly for detachable connection to an archery bow includes first and second releasable locking members connectable to an archery bow and a quiver. The first locking member has an elongate base with a dovetail-shaped projection. The second locking member has a dovetail-shaped groove for receiving the projection of the first locking member. Concave depressions are formed on each side of the projection. A locking lever is pivotally connected to the second locking member and includes a lever portion for manipulation by a user and a cam portion with a cam surface that engages one of the depressions when the first and second releasable locking members are connected together. The quiver assembly also includes a hood with an insert having a brightly colored surface to thereby illuminate the hollow interior under ambient light conditions without the need for artificial light.

The combined stabilizer/quiver may comprise a shaft that extends forward from the front side of a bow and functions as a stabilizer, and arrows may be disposed substantially parallel to the shaft and contribute to the stabilizing function. With two components combined into one, the bow has less weight, improved accuracy and precision, and greater versatility. The quiver hood includes a plurality of broad head cavities and at least three frame mounting cavities. A centerline of the plurality of broad head cavities are aligned in a straight line. However, depths of adjacent broad head cavities are staggered from each other. An alternative embodiment of a quiver hood includes adjacent broad head cavities that are offset from each other in a Y-axis. The quiver frame includes a first hood mounting leg and a second hood mounting leg extending from one end. The first and second hood mounting legs are retained in the frame mounting openings. The first and second arrow grippers may be attached to the quiver frame to create right or left hand quivers.

摘要： A quiver for holding arrows or bolts. The quiver may be releasably attached to a mounting rail on a bow, belt, or the like. The quiver includes a frame connecting two end structures, each end structure having arrow head pockets, arrow shaft clips, and a connector for attachment to the frame. At a midsection of the frame is a mounting block with an attachment mechanism for releasably securing the quiver to the mounting rail. The preferable mounting rail is of the Picatinny type. A first set of arrows (three in the preferred embodiment) may be positioned with arrow heads in the arrow head pockets of one end structure and arrow shafts in the arrow shaft clips of the second end structure. A second set of arrows is positioned in a similar manner but in the opposite direction between the end structures on the frame.
