摘要： Systems and methods for deploying airbags are disclosed comprising a conveyor belt having plurality of airbag module deploy boxes. A processing area is included wherein a first end of the conveyor belt passes into the processing area, and wherein undeployed airbag modules are loaded into the plurality of deploy boxes. A deployment area is also included that is separate from the processing area, wherein a second end of the conveyor belt passes into the deployment area. At the deployment area the undeployed airbags are deployed by applying an electrical signal to the undeployed airbag modules. A collection bin is included at the second end of the conveyor belt to collect the deployed airbags.

摘要： A system for dismantling submerged munitions is disclosed. The system includes a cleaning tool, a cutting tool, and a washout tool. The cleaning tool is configured to clean a surface of a submerged munition using a high-pressure water jet, and the cutting tool is configured to cut a hole in a submerged munition using a high-pressure abrasive water jet. The washout tool removes contents of the munition using one or more high pressure water jets. The system further includes a frame that houses the cleaning tool, the cutting tool, and the washout tool. The system may be lowered to the ocean floor and includes positioning mechanisms to position the cleaning tool, the cutting tool, and the washout tool relative to the munition to be dismantled. The system is configured to safely capture contents of submerged munitions to prevent release of the contents of the munition into the environment.

The container can contain the inflator and any shrapnel associated with the explosion while also venting gases expelled as a result of the explosion. Various container designs are provided, along with methods for using these containers.

In one or more embodiments the munition including a housing including a chassis defining one or more openings such that the housing is an at least partially open structure exposing an interior to an ambient environment. In various embodiments the munition includes a detonation module including a detonation initiator and a deflagration module including a deflagration initiator coupled with a pyrotechnic primer, and munition control circuitry. In various embodiments the munition control circuitry receives instructions to deflagrate the explosive ordnance and instructs the deflagration module to activate the deflagration initiator. In various embodiments, the deflagration initiator causes a deflagration of the explosive ordnance for self-neutralization of the munition resulting in safe destruction of the munition's explosive charge and control electronics.

摘要： An explosive disruptor includes a first jacket having joined inflatable members. The inflatable members are adapted to be filled with a gas. A second jacket is surrounded by and coupled to the first jacket. The second jacket has an outer radial wall, an inner radial wall spaced apart from the outer radial wall, and two end walls coupled to opposing axial ends of the outer radial wall and the inner radial wall. A first volumetric region is defined between the outer radial wall, the inner radial wall, and the two end walls. A second volumetric region is defined by the inner radial wall. The first volumetric region is sealed and adapted to be filled with a liquid. An explosive material is disposed in the second volumetric region. A blasting cap is in contact with the explosive material.
