摘要： A fill adapter system for an infusion pump assembly. The system includes a reusable fill adapter base, the base including a volume control mechanism to adjust an available fill volume of a reservoir of the infusion pump assembly and a pump mechanism configured to pump air into a fluid vial. The system also includes a vial adapter assembly including a first needle configured to penetrate a septum of the fluid vial for fluidly coupling the pump mechanism to the fluid vial and a second needle having a first end configured to penetrate the septum of the fluid vial and a second end configured to penetrate a septum of the reservoir of the infusion pump assembly to allow transfer of fluid from the fluid vial to the reservoir of the infusion pump assembly in response to air being pumped into the fluid vial and a needle carriage adapted to carry the first needle and the second needle, wherein the needle carriage slidably attached to the interior of the vial adapter assembly, wherein the needle carriage adapted to slide from a vial end of the vial adapter to a receptacle end of the vial adapter.

The vial will also include a snap off cap integrally formed on the neck and a liquid content contained in the tubular body. A plurality of dosage lines are printed on the tubular body, the dosage lines having a non-uniform spacing corresponding to the variable volume per unit length of the vial geometric shape. Each line corresponds to a dosage volume of the liquid content when the opening orifice is oriented in the vertically upward position.

In the case of two openings, only the flexible dome extends to the exterior of the pouch. The outlet valve is configured so that the more pressure that is applied to the flexible fluid pouch, the more tightly the outlet valve seals.

The pump operates by varying the volume of the chamber by elastic deformation of a membrane of the deformable element from an initial state wherein the chamber has a maximum volume to a deformed state wherein the volume of the chamber is minimal. The chamber is provided with a product inlet orifice and a product outlet orifice, and the pump includes deformation means of the membrane configured to exert pressure on the membrane. Finally, the pump includes means to purge the air from the chamber, that is activated when the membrane is in its deformed state, the purging means enabling the dosing chamber to communicate with the outside of the pump.

摘要： An exemplary system for dispensing foam includes a container holding a foamable liquid, a pump, and a suck-back device. The suck back device has a housing having a small bore with first diameter and a large bore with a second diameter; a dual body piston with a first piston that reciprocates in the small bore and a second piston that reciprocates in the large bore; a flow restrictor located proximate the dual body piston, a suck back chamber formed at least in part by the large bore and the second piston, and a foam outlet. The flow restrictor is configured so that fluid flow into the suck back device causes the suck back chamber to compress and when the fluid flow stops, a biasing member causes the suck back chamber to expand and suck back residual foam into the suck back chamber.
