摘要： Thermal imaging systems can include an infrared camera module (200), a user interface (208), a processor (222), and a memory. The memory can include instructions to cause the processor (222) to perform a method upon a detected actuation from the user interface (208). The method can include performing a non-uniformity correction (1702) to reduce or eliminate fixed pattern noise from infrared image data from the infrared camera module (200). The method can include capturing infrared images (1704) at a plurality of times and register the captured images via a stabilization process (1706). The registered, non-uniformity corrected images can be used to perform a gas imaging process (1700). A processor (222) can be configured to compare an apparent background temperature in each of a plurality of regions of infrared image data to a target gas temperature. The processor (222) can determine if such regions lack sufficient contrast to reliably observe the target gas.

摘要： An improved camera system includes an uncooled thermal imaging sensor, a rotary actuator, a rotary encoder, and a slip ring. The rotary actuator is physically coupled to the uncooled thermal imaging sensor and enables the sensor to rotate a full 360 degrees any number of times relative to the system's horizontal base. Through the use of the slip ring, the sensor and the sensor's wiring can rotate freely without impedance. Notably, the sensor's wiring can be disposed through a central through-hole running the length of the rotary actuator. Therefore, prior to reaching the slip ring, the sensor and its wiring rotate in unison with the rotary actuator. The encoder is structured to monitor the angular position of the sensor in order to accurately determine where the sensor is being aimed.

The socket includes a circular bottom surface and a closed section and an open section defined on a periphery of the circular bottom surface, a side wall surface vertically provided on the closed section, an accommodating space sandwiched between the side wall surface and the circular bottom surface, and at least one second abutting portion formed on the circular bottom surface. In this way, the dual motions of the radial and axial directions can be used to ensure that the probe cover can be reliably ejected and removed from the probe.
