摘要： An image display device a light source, an image display layer and a refractive structure layer. The light source emits a light beam. The image display layer is located over the light source. The image display layer includes plural pattern sections. The refractive structure layer has a reference plane. When the light beam is irradiated on the refractive structure layer and there is a first angle between the light beam and the reference plane, the light beam is guided to a first pattern section, so that a first image is displayed on the image display layer. When the light beam is irradiated on the refractive structure layer and there is a second angle between the light beam and the reference plane, the light beam is guided to a second pattern section, so that a second image is displayed on the image display layer.

摘要： Parallax ghosting is mitigated in a mounted lenticular grating with for many-frame animation by having lenticules at an offset angle α relative to the viewing vertical and incorporating ghosting in the base images. Where Ω is an angular range orthogonal to the longitudinal axes of the lenticules over which m picture slices in the base graphic are viewable, V is the distance between the viewer's eyes, and L is the distance of the viewer from the lenticular grating, the number N of picture slices viewed due to the parallax effect given by N=2(m/Ω)arc tan(V|cos α|2 L). The above variables are chosen such that the number N of viewed picture slices is not too large. Ghosting of foreground images from neighboring frames is added to mitigate parallax-induced washing-out of colors. To create a three-dimensional effect, ghosted images are shifted in position by an amount related to their intended distance out-of-plane.

摘要： A method for stereoscopic image printing according to one aspect of the presently disclosed subject matter includes acquiring information on distribution of parallax of a multi-viewpoint image with two or more viewpoints; determining, based on the information on the distribution of parallax, a number of viewpoints of a stereoscopic image which is printed on a lenticular lens sheet; generating, if the number of viewpoints of the multi-viewpoint image is smaller than the determined number of viewpoints, a shortfall viewpoint image based on the inputted multi-viewpoint image; and printing a stereoscopic image which is made of the multi-viewpoint image and the generated viewpoint image.

摘要： The present invention provides a wearable article such as clothing, backpacks, hats, and the like that include a backlit lenticular lens display that emits light to allow animation and special effects. The array of interlaced images can be printed directly onto the electroluminescent panel, onto a removable support sheet, or onto the back surface of the lenticular. The electroluminescent panel is laminated to form a flange portion that is radio frequency welded to bond the lenticular display device to an article that is impregnated with a bonding material. A backing material having a fabric layer and a water impenetrable layer can be affixed to the assembly such that the fabric layer contacts the skin. Alternatively, the article may have a surface a display compartment or envelope with a transparent outer surface for enclosing the electroluminescent layer, a removable image sheet, and a lenticular lens layer.
