    • The present disclosure provides techniques for an improved switching module for voltage regulators or transformers with voltage regulating taps. The switching module disclosed herein includes a first bypass switch and a second bypass switch coupled to the first bypass switch, at least one prime mover coupled to and configured to actuate at least one of the first bypass switch and the second bypass switch, and at least one load breaking switch coupled between the first and second bypass switches. In certain example embodiments, a separate prime move is configured to actuate each of the bypass switches and the load breaking switch. In certain other example embodiments, one or more of the bypass switches and the load breaking switch is actuated by a shared prime mover.

    • A rectifier transformer including at least one secondary with windings, one pair of magnetic transductors per winding, one of the transductors having one or more first busbars and the other having one or more second busbars. All of the busbars of the pair of transductors are connected to the same winding. The or each first or second, busbar is connected to a single positive or negative, terminal (2w+) designed to be connected to a positive or negative, arm of the rectifier. All of the busbars of the pair of magnetic transductors form one or more groups that are encircled by at least one magnetic toroid and that comprise at least one first busbar and at least one second busbar, so that, when the terminals are short-circuited, the busbars of a group pass currents of opposite directions such that the sum of the currents in one direction is equal to the sum of the currents in the other direction.

    • A driving apparatus, a system and a method thereof is provided by the present invention. The driving apparatus has at least an output terminal and includes a driving circuit and a control switch. The control switch is electrically coupled with the driving circuit. The driving circuit receives an input signal and converts the input signal into an analog driving signal. The control switch is controlled by a control signal. When the control switch is turned on, the analog driving signal is able to be sent to the output terminal of the driving apparatus. The control signal further controls the spike current generated as turning on the control switch so as to reduce the spike current. The driving apparatus can be applied to an LCD system, so that the panel and the chips of the LCD system have longer life time, lower electricity consumption and better heat dissipation performance.

    • A switching power supply unit is provided, which can output a DC voltage and an AC voltage with a minimized installation space. A switching circuit is provided between a winding of a transformer and a main battery. A rectifier circuit is provided between other windings of the transformer and an accessory battery. Output terminals for outputting an AC output voltage are provided at the other side of the transformer, the AC output voltage being generated based on a DC input voltage inputted from the main battery. A DC output voltage and the AC output voltage are generated based on the DC input voltage, and then outputted. The transformer is shared by a generation path of the DC output voltage and a generation path of the AC output voltage. An AC voltage input section to be inputted with the AC input voltage from external equipment may be provided at the other side of the transformer.
