摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed which use a block chain (“blockchain”) to enable the establishment of file dates and the absence of tampering, even for documents held in secrecy and those stored in uncontrolled environments, but which does not require trusting a timestamping authority or document archival service. In an exemplary operation, an internet browser retrieves a website document, hashes at least a portion of the website document to produce a first hash value, retrieves blockchain registration data for the website document; compares the first hash value with a second hash value found in a blockchain; and responsive to the first and second hash values matching, displays a verification indication. Some embodiments may be used as parental controls for internet browsers.

In an embodiment, a computer system may instantiate a graphical user interface (GUI) to display folder and sub-folder contents as well as a folder key. A user may input a folder key as a representation of the displayed sub-folder of the corresponding folder path. The folder key may include one or more symbols that the computer system may store and associate with the folder path. Using the folder key, the computer system may retrieve a particular sub-folder, manage security or permissions related to folders, and/or facilitate navigation between sub-folders. Using a folder key may aid a user in quickly navigating to a particular sub-folder and may allow a computer system to avoid loading unnecessary intermediate sub-folders as a user navigates to a particular desired sub-folder.

摘要： In some embodiments, a system for synchronizing content with client devices receives a request from a client device to synchronize operations pertaining to content items associated with a user account registered at the system. The request can include the operations and a cursor identifying a current position of the client in a journal of revisions on the system. Based on the operations, the system generates linearized operations associated with the content items. The linearized operations can include a respective operation derived for each of the content items from one or more of the operations. The system converts each respective operation in the linearized operations to a respective revision for the journal of revisions and, based on the cursor, determines whether the respective revision conflicts with revisions in the journal. When the respective revision does not conflict with revisions in the journal, the system adds the respective revision to the journal.

摘要： There is provided a method and apparatus for remote differential compression (RDC) and data deduplication. According to embodiments, when a sending device acquires a new target file, the following steps are performed. Initially, Jaccard segmentation is performed, followed by performing identity-based segment deduplication and similarity-based segment deduplication. The transmission of the target file in the deduplicated form to the recipient device is subsequently performed. The recipient device can then rebuild the original target file from the deduplicated form thus replicating the target file at the recipient device with the target file originally present at the sending device.
